This was so sweet to watch, honestly. You managed not only to save their cheeky little lives, but you readied them to be released back to the wild on their own terms, making sure they never became too dependent on humans. Actually made me feel warm inside and cheered me up on a miserable Monday morning!

It’s a strange old world we live I here in New Zealand stoats ferrets and the like and also hedgehogs are considered a noxious creature mainly due to a lot of birds in this country are ground nesting

I can't belive some people think Stoats should be in the wild, this little one is the best. She's happy, she's got a friend, she's got a best friend in the fleshy overlord that feeds her.

I see stoats almost weekly wisking quickly across the road on my walks to East Anglia county villages, sometimes they have a mouse or some other prey in their mouth. Beautiful little creatures.

I can’t believe imprinted animals from birth were released into the WILD! Didn’t expect it to end like that. Did they learn to dig for grubs Do they know what they eat & where to find it Smh

Here in New Zealand, stoats are considered a noxious, invasive species and for quite a while, there was even a bounty on them as they tend to kill a lot of our native wildlife.
