I went to a hotel, and i turned the water on, and it smelled like fish oil. later i went to use the toilet and someone had taped a note there. it read if this note is here when you go to the bathroom, then they didn't clean this toilet. se if you can find the other notes i have hidden around the room. there are a total of 7 notes so i went looking around the room and i found all seven. so i call the front desk, and they talked to housekeeping. house kepping was like oops, i guess we missed one

welp, I have one.
it said at my hotel to call room cleaning if something isn't clean, after that I went to my room, there was boogers/Nose pickings (Yup, absolutely disgusting) on my bed sheets!
I called the room cleaning/Cleaners, they didn't respond. Finally after about 9 trys, they responded. But. It was the reception. There was no room cleaning. It sucked!

At a hotel at California I forgot the city a shower was frozen and my brother and I were FREEZING am I was literally crying because it was soooo cold I couldn't take it but only my bro and I was in the cold shower while the rest of my family such as Aunt, Uncles, Dad, and Mom were on the warm shower while we were at cold!

Actually, quite a few places have bins for used toilet paper, the idea is toilet paper sometimes clog the toilet and the next person can't use it. Honestly I never had that problem in my house as most toilet paper these days are designed to self-destruct in water. I guess it used to be a problem.

the putting toilet paper in the bin thing is in earthquake prone areas where they have small flexible sewage pipe and toilet paper can block the whole system. I went to a 5 star hotel in zante, Greece which it was a very clean hotel but you still had to put your bog paper in the bin,

I caught the flu in one hotel, didn't know it, and went to another hotel the next day where I was throwing up and had diarrhea. lol. We actually got a few free days because none of the maids would clean the room. rofl.
We never got a bill because I had the flu.

Ok. Why was there a 'don't smoke sign' in an ashtray?
Also - in the UK the floor levels are Ground, 1, 2, 3, 4
Not 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
So that one about the elevators was probably a British one

When you see that a hotel has such a small amount of money that they paint the furniture, know that is not the highest quality hotel and choose to go elsewhere.
