TheThings I'm going to say this this was clickbaitish. If you're going to make a list about real life Greek mythology that turned out to be true then it should be in that era of History. It should not be modern-day history therefore it's automatically disqualified because knock mythology that turned out to be true. There should be scientific explanation explaining in a scientific way that discludes the Myths. Chernobyl really doesn't count. That was modern-day so it wasn't the Greek mythology that turned out to be true. It was two different circumstances that had nothing to do with each other. A little bit of constructive criticism when you make a list stay on topic. Chernobyl really isn't on topic if you think about it. You're not talkin about Greek mythology at that point you're talking about moderen history so no that's not the same thing as finding out a Greek mythology that turned out to be true. What that turned out to be is a deadly disaster that happened right after that that if you look at it you can die. If you think about it of topic because you weren't talking about modern history you were talking about mythology.

In regards to Heracles:
No one can even use his Greek name.
Like, Oh, let's make a Greek movie, set in Greece, with Greek gods and Greek heroes, but let's do absolutely no research and use the main character's Roman name instead, how about that?
Greek = Heracles (which means the glory of Hera so Zeus could apologize for cheating on his wife, Hera and having another illegitimate child)
Roman = Hercules (ya know, after the Romans had zero creative thoughts and stole the entire Greek culture and then had the audacity to try and wipe them out)
You know, it feels kinda disrespectful to the Greeks to use Heracles' Roman name, especially when promoting his content as Greek.

Is it not Ulysses? In Homers The Odyssey? Im pretty sure Odyseus is someone completely different like a god. It helps if u look at more than one source just to make sure ur source is correct. The Odyssey used to be required reading in High School. So was 1984 and many other classics. I just heard that Americans IQs have decreased 7 points since 2000! And Public Education is Marxist Indoctrination now. Needs to be fixed asap. This exagerated dramatized History of Black people in America comes from the movie Roots & has very little basis in Reality. I was super shocked at the True History because I believed it.

Actually, the wooden horse of Troy that was a gift from Greeks, was not a huge wooden horse. It was a ship which had a horse bust on the bow of the ship. It was know as wooden horse by Homerus who was know by his metaphors.
P. S. The God of music was Apollonas.

I love greek mythology! I'm very happy that my mum has always been quite into interested in things like this because I'm actually named after the greek goddess of the earth, Gaia. It's a very pretty name and she's a very pretty goddess. :D

The Greeks thought cyclops were real because they found wooly mammoth skulls and thought the big dent where there eyes were, were from a big creature with one eye
