Actually the real reason the defence against the dark arts position is cursed because
When Tom riddle ( after graduating ) came to ask the headmaster ( now dumbledore has become headmaster as it was somebody else during the time Tom riddle was in hogwarts ) if he could be the defence against the dark arts teacher and dumbledore said no riddle got mad and cursed the position so no teacher can stay at the DADA position for more than year and this also shows why dumbledore didnt let snape teach DADA because he was worried that once a year passes snape would be pulled away from the school and as his loyalty was for dumbledore and he thought that snape would put his full loyalty to voldy moldy and tell all the secrets like the members of the order of the Phoenix are and the order of the Phoenix hideout is so that is the reason: )

Since you clearly didn't read any of the Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts books or even watch the movies:
It's a maledictus the character is not named maledictus
Dumbledore was the Transfiguration teacher before becoming headmaster
Tom Riddle curesed the DADA position when Dumbledore didn't give him the job
It's pronounced lee-ta not let-a
Grindlewald didn't die he was disarmed by Dumbledore in their duel and locked up in his fortress
In a 2007 interview JK literally said that Dumbledore was gay
Check your facts for once most of this is Harry Potter
Then again you clearly didn't read the books or even bothered to pay attention to the movies it's okay

It says in the book Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Voldemort jinxed the job after being refused the post of Defense Against The Dark Arts. So no, Dumbledore did not jinx it. And it says in the book The Chamber of Secrets, Dumbledore was the Transfiguration teacher before he became headmaster. So not DADA teacher. And Grindelwald was killed by Voldemort in 1997. And the girl's name is Maledictus, that's what a person with a blood curse is called, not her name. And it's pronounced L-ee-ta not Le-ta. I'm outta here.

The defence against the dark arts teacher role was cursed by voldermort after he applied for the role but got turned down by dumbledore.
Voldermore applied for the role as like harry he saw Hogwarts as his home. He also loved the secrets Hogwarts processes, such as the room of requirement and the chamber of secrets etc.

Grindelwald did't died in 194. He was killed by Lord Voldemort to get Elder wand in Azkaban.
Dumbledore didn't cursed he Defense Against the Dark Arts but it was Lord Vodemort who cursed it not Dumbledore. And when Lord Voldemort was killed the curse was lifted.
You need to triple check the facts.

Ehm, I thought for sure that Dumbledore was the Transfiguration professor, not the DADA professor. Also, why would Maledictus have a blood curse that causes her to turn into a snake when it could very well be her animagus form instead.

Voldemort killed Grindelwald after he told Voldemort where the elder wand was. And the Malidictus is not called Malidictus she is actually called Nagini. There are so many things wrong with these theories.

I agree with most all the comments here, the facts in this video are way off. But Dumbledore, in The Crimes of Grindelwald, is the DADA teacher. Soooo. Im assuming J. K. had something to do with this.
