Well, lets put it this way about Aladdin's date songs: they're teens, and most often when teens date, their hormones take over, not their brains, so thank goodness her daddy's at home for that good night kiss scene, just to watch over the date his daughter had with her boyfriend!
By and large, her father proved in that regard to be, at least then, to be doing his paternal duty and protecting his little girl from doing something really dumb- as in, well, the polite term is making love to her boyfriend before matrimony, and given her place in that society, it would cause a significant scandal- even more so if she's say not dating a guy, but someone with different anatomy, think the following for the reason for that family fight: region of the globe, time period, (both good, and religion (here in this case good, and you'll see why she'd at least be expected to be confined to her room in that case!

While Lion King is really an anthropormorphic Shakespear's Hamlet, Be Prepared is based on, by the coreography, the old Nazi rallies in Nuremburg prior to WW2 during the Nazi rise to power there- and before you jump to any conclusions, the Nazis were completely left-wing, due in part to their very anti-free-market ideology; they didn't want any freedoms for the average German, let alone anyone non-German, that the government didn't personally and specifically approve of, and they took steps to ensure that that wouldn't happen. added to that, their tactics are straight out of a leftist's playbook as well, including the mob violence they used, what with that gay gang they used to terrorize the average German: the old SA or, simply put, brownshirts. a kind of antifa as it were, to take on modern current events.

Well, Scar is really an animal rendition of Claudius, Hamlet's real rat-of-an-uncle, considering as he first off, murders his own brother, and then steals his brother's wife, so it fits what he's up to.
Added to that, whenever a new lion male takes over a pride, he proceeds to slaughter his predessor's children, and then to mate with the other guy's former wives- really cruddy behavior! This, by the way, is not too different from the rumored stepdad image; which I think is unfitting, but sometimes did happen, and, as a full-adult man, that's not merely saddening, but also completely disgusting that my own gender would mess around like that- abusing our children by marriage and also stealing somebody else's wife- idiots. the lot of them (those who do that, I mean!
