Finally watched Mary Poppins Returns tonight on Netflix and it was a blast. The cameo appearance of Karen Dotrice (the original Jane in 1964) in the new film included the spoken line Many thanks, sincerely to the grown Jane. a phrase which was a lyric from Dotrice's duet with on-screen brother-- played by Matthew Garber-- that they sang in the original film (song called The Perfect Nanny. Another Easter Egg to add.
