I mean it's been a while since I've seen The Originals season 1 and 2 but I am positive that it was said Hope is a siphoning witch as well so that would mean if she activated the vampire side she would keep her magic. I can't exactly pinpoint where I heard or read it but that would explain it.
However if that actually isn't the case and I heard bogus I have a theory prepared: Bonnie and Klaus and the others lost or would have lost the witch magic when turned into a vampire because they were normal witches. Kol and Finn and Rebekah only got their witch abilities back when Esther transferred them into witch bodies. My theory is that when a witch gets turned into a vampire they lose it but because Hope was born with both of those I think that she would keep her magic when she activates the vampire side. Because witches and werewolves are born with the gene but vampires aren't, people have to be turned into vampires.

Okay! Shes a TRIBRID! She already is a vampire along with witch and wolf. She was born with vampire blood already in her, (because Klaus) If you saw a episode in season 5 of the originals she did a jump to a different floor. vampire perk She was born all 3. Pretty easy to understand when you connect the dots. Hayley: Wolf while pregnant with Hope Klaus: Wolf and vampire.
Edit; 11: 00 Uhm. Her wolf side healing her in the originals as a baby does not make sense. SHE DID NOT TRIGGER THE CURSE YET!

i dont think Hope will keep her magic or become an original. Now that all the white oak is gone i think there is only one way to kill an original. Siphoners. The only reason originals are alive is because of magic, and tecnically they are dead so i think siphoners are able to siphon the magic keeping them alive and therefore killing them. Same with vampires, i think siphoners can siphon the magic keeping them alive. what do you think?

if a siphon siphons a vampire, it will kill them. in tvd when caroline was pregnant with the twins, they started siphoning the magic from her blood, desiccating her. this is because the vampire is already dead. also, a siphon couldnt take the werewolf curse away from a werewolf because that curse is individually placed in the bloodline, and the only way to rid a werewolf of the curse is by a certain spell.

3: 55 Which would make Lizzie an unstoppable hot mess (referring to Lizzie as a Heretic) did we forget that vampirism helped Caroline, her mother? Caroline was a hot mess but when she turned into a vampire, she became the most functional of them all even with her humanity off. Since a lot of people always compare Lizzie to Caroline, maybe she'll be the same?

Hope doesnt have vampire traits cause she hasnt dies the only reason she heals is cause she has vampire blood in her system.
Another theory if a human got injured would hope be able to heal them with her blood without triggering her vampire side

Even if they bring Kai back it really wont make sense because kai is also a siphoner not born with magic like Josette but he did merge with his younger twin brother so maybe that will sorta/kinda work but Im not sure just a theory

If a siphoner drained the magic from a vampire, it would kill them. It's basically magic that keeps them alive, since they're dead.
On the other hand, I wonder if it's done to werewolves, would it remove the werewolf gene?

I believe that hope will die in the most hilarious way possible. I mean calculate the facts most powerful creatures die form the weirdest of reasons. Tribrid or not every thing in the world of magic must have a loophole.

if they siphon magic from a vampire the they will leave them to die as if the wasnt any vampie blood in there system just like what happen in tvd when ric went in to town and jostete saved him and the he became human
