Btw, why is it that when Maleficent was purple when she got transformed but green when she was put in the box? Maybe someone in Auradon swapped her with a fake lizard and brought her back to the isle? So when Mal went to the isle of the lost, the lizard didn't transform into maleficent because she was already gone?

Personally I think the reason Maleficent is still a lizard might be due to mal not knowing the true nature of the spell she used to turn her mom into a lizard, I mean Mal's sole concern at that moment was saving her friends and she had no clue what the spell would do resulting in her not being able to reverse it

I actually have no idea if Maleficent should be trusted or not. In the movie Maleficent and the movie Maleficent the evil mistress, Maleficent was actually a nice person or should we say fairy. But in Descendants she became evil, let alone live with that Hades.

I just have to say it wasn't a spell when Maleficent turned into a lizard she just shrunk to the size in her heart which is little. Maleficent can only go back to normal when she learns to love like Mal did

Maleficent shrunk herself its said in the first movie. She stays like that bc thats how much love she has in her heart. Mal cant turn her back even if she wanted to.
