Stranger Things season Four is the stuff that nightmares are made of! We were terrified just watching, we can t imagine the struggle the actors faced while filming these chilling moments. With the penultimate season being described as the darkest one yet - you ll wanna make sure you have the lights on while you watch! Sadie Sink has been stealing the show as Max - especially because she so bravely faced some of the most terrifying situations we ve ever seen on the show! Her escape from Vecna was far from easy, but our girl kept running up that hill. No one likes a Demogorgon, even if you ve dealt with one before, so seeing this freaky creature again brought back some trauma. Remember - these kids were young when they started and that creature was HORRIFYING. We get stunts galore in this season - including an intense underwater one that Joe Keery literally dove into headfirst. Filming in a tank filled with gallons of water was no walk in the park. He wasn t the only one to struggle with underwater scenes - which scary moment in an earlier season had the production shaken up? Speaking of brutal conditions - David Harbour faces an excruciatingly tough scene to film that saw his feet freezing in a not-so-friendly environment. Millie Bobby Brown s Eleven has it tough on screen, and this trooper had it equally rough behind the scenes filming certain stunts that had her literally spinning out of control! The series just gets scarier as the actors grow up - we can t imagine what kind of horrors we ll see when the series wraps with its fifth season!

Multiple genres can be considered as part of Stranger Things DNA as the show has a number of elements that form part of its style. Still, horror is something the series has been promoted as more than anything else, which is valid since there are more than several scenes that have scared fans.

Max's escape from Vecna's clutches is definitely my favourite scene in the show thus far. It's chilling and unnerving all at once, and I wouldn't be surprised if Sadie was nominated for an Emmy.
