Will Jughead miraculously rise from the grave OR does this mean that Cole Sprouse is leaving the show for good? Were here to present to you the most sane sounding theories and reveal to you whats next for our favourite twin. For Cole, when he took on Riverdale it was a big step for him. He was no longer acting alongside his brother Dylan and was the lead in a TV show. Though the show took off and he established himself as a serious actor, it seems it wasnt enough. Over the past year, Cole has been taking on features and appeared in the critically acclaimed film Five Feet Apart where we played someone struggling with cystic fibrosis. It seems as though Cole is making moves to break out of the world of CW and make his break for the big screen. If he is truly leaving Riverdale, it could be because hes trying to refocus his career. Though it is probably nice to work side by side, Cole and Lili might be feeling like they need to establish themselves outside of this dynamic and having Cole leave Riverdale could help them break apart in order to foster their individuality. Another theory is that he could be abandoning his acting career to follow his passion for photography. If you think about it, it seems he was thrown into acting at a young age and as his career snowballed, it probably just seemed like the default job to do. Were guessing that now, at 27, hes probably going through some kind of quarter life crisis and questioning where to go next. In all honesty, were hoping were all worked up for nothing and that Riverdale comes up with some far fetched way to restart his pulse. Fingers crossed!

I am searching reasons to continue watching riverdale because actually Jughead is the only reason i am watching all freaking season. So I am realllllly hoping that Jug didnt die. I swear I would Stop watching riverdale faster as you can say: I love tea

Hate 3rd season. Loved 1st and 2nd. 4th waiting for May 21st.

And Jug didn't die in the second season and I don't think that he died in season three or four. Riverdale would also drop if Cole leaves because I feel like he's the most liked character

I only watch Riverdale for Cole. I'm pretty sure if he actually does leave or kill him off a lot of people is gonna stop watching. He's literally a main character.
