Everyone has their own opinion on things. So whether or not other countries were over reacting is another story. There is an old saying try to walk a mile in the other person's shoes. I am Korean. I was born in South Korea. I get very offended when people assume that I am Japanese or Chinese. I don't mind them asking because asking is just a question. I am a very very very sensitive person. I have try very hard not to, but it is who I am. Racist does exist in the world even today. Movies properly tries not to offended anyone or country. But no matter what you will offend someone. It is like being President of the Country. No matter what the President does some will phrase him and some will hate him and movies are no different. No matter what the issue is some will always be for it and others will oppose it. I got offended when AllState Insurance implied that I was retarded. Here is what Happened.
Me: Ma'am, I am not a ma'am. I am a sir.
Agent: Are you sure?
Me: Excuse me?
Agent: Are you sure you're a sir?
Me: Yes I am a sir.
Agent: I don't believe you, so I am going to keep calling you a ma'am.
Me: You don't have to believe me cancel my policy and I will go some where else for Insurance.

In coming paragraph. I am reading the comment section right now and I can see a lot of misunderstandings. I cannot speak for the other countries because I did not live in those countries but I do can speak for China. I grew up in China watching Disney films and enjoying avatar as much as any other kid. I feel like this is misinformation from vox news and ABC. The current leader of China is one of the greatest ever in Chinas history. He boosted education and went around the country to assist kids in need. I havent got the chance to go back to China yet but Im pretty confident winne the po isnt banned. At least not to the point that people gives a damn. It does not seem like any sources was sites here so you cannot exactly tell whats real whats not. If its a funny meme and stuff thats ok. I would love to explain some misinformation. A lot of bad blood had been poured into China but its a great place. If you disagree Im sure you have the reason to do so. If there is any questions please ask. I bet this is just some 4chan reddit dumb crap.

I'm not racist but I'm certain that they were just had good intentions by making these movies the nothing malicious plus a lot of research has been made to make these movies better in and to be more inclusive of other people's cultures and the lgbtq community and things that don't get that much recognition and movies

I really dont understand why its a problem for white actors to voice non-white characters in the English-American release. Im sure Arabic actors did the voices for the Arabic dub of Aladdin. And guess what? Aladdin was also voiced by Asian and American actors too.

There is already a live - action Mulan movie, just not by Disney. If you were wondering. I don't care if it's offensive, I still think the singing palace guards are better in animation than live-action.
