Even though many movie theaters are closed, its time to get excited about the Spongebob Squarepants movie Sponge on the Run. This straight to streaming film will feature some amazing voice actors. Some will sound familiar to fans of the series, while others will be making their debut as new cast members and all new characters! Snoop Dogg will be playing the part of who else, but himself, while musician Awkwafina and Reggie Watts will be making appearances in undisclosed roles. Legendary actor Keanu Reeves will be voicing a sage piece of. .. well, sage, and Matt Berry will be playing the part of King Poseidon. Of course, well also see the return of some beloved voice actors from the series including Spongebob Squarepants himself, Tom Kenny. And where would our favorite sea creature be without his best friend Patrick Starr voiced by Bill Fagerbakke and his less than patient neighbor Squidward Tentacles voiced by Rodger Bumpass? Clancy Brown will be back as Krusty Krab proprietor Mr. Krabs, and Mr. Lawrence will be back as the Chum Buckets owner, Plankton.
