Harry Potter Fans Were Upset With Ginny Weasley's Character In The Films. Who thought Ginny Weasley was annoying in the Harry Potter films? Who was confused why she and Harry wound up together? Any Potterheads who are in this category may not have had the chance to read the books. Ginny Weasley went from a young, inexperienced girl who was overcome by Harry Potter and his fame to a strong, powerful witch that Harry wound up choosing as his wife. The movies had a lot to cover and did a good job of doing so, but they definitely left out some key parts, especially when it came to the Ginny Weasley story arc. While the movies depicted her as a manic pixie dream girl who was obsessed with Harry, readers of the books will recognize that Ginny was a powerful, spunky, independent and positive role model for women. She may have stuck out only for her red hair in the films, but the books painted her as the layered, dynamic and fire character she truly was. Unfortunately, people who only saw the film wouldnt get the chance to see this brilliant character developed as many of her scenes and moments of significance were either glossed over or not included at all. This video will look at her transformation from shy girl to warrior witch, the depth of her relationship with Harry and take note of all the reasons she was so much more than just a love interest. While the movies dont do her justice, were here to set the record straight! NEW UPLOADS

Just watched the films again so Im going mega nerd mode but HOLY LORD VOLDEMORT Everything the movies did only makes sense if Harry and Hermione are together they go through so much together bond very deeply Rons always hurt picking his nose digging in his butt and crys like a little baby and Ginny is just missing completely without any explanation you cant help but think shes doing some really unimportant not interesting stuff just like a character like hers would be. Just bizarre choices made for the romances nothing quite feels right. Ron and Hermiones relationship feels more like brother and sister its very awkward all the way until they kiss and then still awkward afterward and Ginny and Harrys relationship feels empty and shallow like a stranger kissing the main character Harry even says Ginny is attractive, funny, and smart. at one point but she hasnt displayed any of those traits in her very limited screen time and then never does the rest of the films.

I loved this video I just loved it. Blessings for that person who made it. Really! I get so sad when I see my favourite character not famous and always criticized by others. This video makes me feel good. I even love the movie ginny also except some awkwardness. I definitely want to see a movie on her. I loved her strong nature that showed up in the quidditch match and also the reducto spells. I know we won't get any movie on her that's impossible. Bu I would love to. Bonnie would've slayed it

Ginny is my favorite character and the fact that in the movies she was just harrys love interest whos only purpose was plot development was really disappointing and every time i tell a movie fan shes my favorite character they are always super confused as to why i like her. She could have been such a cool character and they missed out on an opportunity to have one of the most powerful female characters in movie history.

I read the series recently for the first time (I've seen the movies multiple times, and was shocked by how much they left out. Always before I loved the interaction between Ron and Hermione, but while reading I found myself enjoying the interaction between Ginny and Harry so much more. I would love to see a TV show, or cartoon series that portrays the characters closer to the books. I enjoyed your video as well.

Becuase so many character arcs and developments (like Ginny) as well as many narrative points were not explored nor done justice on the films, I want a Harry Potter TV series reboot in the form of animation (not live action; much harder and time consuming to execute) that follow the books to the letter and does them justice. 1 book= 1 season and 1 chapter= 1 episode.

I hate funny and I read the books all right. Ginny, is just a pretty love interest for Harry and nothing more. Hermione is the real independent powerful strong wich that people should adore more than Ginny the small baby that everyone pays attention to. Hermione is the one that deserves way more attention than she gets in the harry potter series.

The filmmakers had no reason to give her any big space in the movies, because the actress was completely terrible, so they kept it to an absolute minimum. Dan did what he could, but she was completely in vain. Moreover, they had zero chemistry, and every scene with them in the movies is downright suffering for the viewer.

Actually
Harry is a brave and an excellent and wonderful guy.
Ron is a tough, equally brave and strong and the most worthy and trustful friend.
Hermione is a born perfectionist, intelligent and a brave crybaby.
Whereas Ginny is the toughest one, equally brave and strong.

You know what I just realized, Movie 2 Ginny was pretty decent in similarities to Book Ginny and that was the last move with Columbus. Then, we get to movie six and she ties Harry's shoelaces and feeds him. I think I see a correlation here

I swear to god she was so ennoying in the movies I mean you could see and feel the way the movies really tried to force her relationship with Harry and she just became hella awkward and just enoyying
