I choose this movie as my new personal favourite. Why!
1. No attention to love/relationship
2. No singing scenes like Frozen otherwise
Maui: If you start singing, I'm gonna puke
3. Beautiful environment songs that happens to be emotional
4. Character design are awesome. Especially Chief Benja, Dang Hai and the Spine chief

2. No scenes of Raya and Namaari about all the trouble they had for 6 years. Well they nailed it with a short scene when they all huged it out

Why do all foreigners are like this means very i am disappointed first they were saying we hope that elsa have girl friend and now u r saying after raya means in this world can't a girl be a friend of another girl so cheap thinking and if they will make elsa's girlfriend or raya 's girlfriend so how this can be a children's movie how don't u think what will children think or u are destroying the childhood of these children including me such a bad mentality now a girl can't make a girl as a friend all will think they r girl friend

I kind of wish they had the guts to do the alternate ending. Or and ending where even though the dragons come back, sisu cannot be revived as she died succumbing to her wounds.
As much as I love Sisu, it would have send a powerful message that somethings just cant be undone. It also would have made the scene where the gang decides to trust namari more meaningful and powerful. But sadly, this is a kids movie.

Not to offend anyone but there is no joy seeing two men or two ladies romancing each other. What message are there going to send to the children
That is why up till today Lion King 1994 and Beauty and the Beast is the best Animation in the World that brings you joy, good vibes in terms of real love and support.

Can I get more context to First gay character?
They wouldn't be the first anything unless they got married on screen. In which case they would be the first gay couple to be married on screen in a Disney Film.

I can see Raya and Namaari eventually becoming a thing. But I can't imagine Raya having feelings for the princess responsible for her father's death during the events of the film. All I'd want is to kick her butt.

Is it awful that I wanted the movie to end on the darker or sad tone? Like they'll be stones forever but new life will flourish in hundreds of years after darkness being defeated?

I'm in the group that was annoyed by Sisu's resurrection. Elsa returning to flesh and blood to save Arendelle is a far cry from Sisu coming back from a crossbow bolt in the heart.

I don't think Rayamari should be canon, they just became actual friends. Also, I hope the sequel, if there will be one, will introduce other Asian mythological creatures.
