Enola Holmes Meets Stranger Things In This New Sherlock Holmes Netflix Series! This video will take a deep dive in comparing and contrasting Netflixs new show, The Irregulars. The show is loosely based on Sherlock Holmes, and definitely takes elements from the original source material, including characters and locations. However, there are a lot of other shows The Irregulars seems to pull from, some that even include other Netflix Originals. This video will give a detailed comparison to Netflixs other Sherlock Holmes adaptation, the movie Enola Holmes, which came out in the fall of 2020. Itll show how its similar and also what is different and unique about each project, and how it tackles different storylines and characters. Also how both are based on Sherlock Holmes, but do not feature him as the main character, rather have him as a side character or more of a concept for worldbuilding. The second point will focus heavily on The Irregulars and other modern Sherlock Holmes shows and movies, mainly, the Robert Downey Jr. movies and the BBCs Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch. This video will compare and contrast how both have worked to modernize Sherlock while staying true to the essence of the original character and stories. This will also look into how The Irregulars does that as well, and how it seems to take elements from both of these adaptations and its own elements to make it wholly its own show. The third point gets into how The Irregulars seems to have borrowed from other popular shows within the same genre, including many of Netflixs Originals. Shows such as Stranger Things, Fate: The Winx Saga, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Bridgerton, The Crown, and even Game of Thrones, to name a few

Billy Ellish song ruined the finale, so overused. If it was just an instrumental, i could deal with it but every tv show has to use that song nowadays. really pulled me out of the scene

Dude I don't care if the show resembles other Netflix shows (which some of them are soooo overhype, they shouldn't have cancelled it! It was too good and with amazing young actors! :(

The cast of this series can't act to save their lives. Some of the lines are silly and often cringeworthy. For a comparison of a better series with better actors, see Shadow and Bone.

Just watched episode 2, there is no way that Spike could invade Holmes's private room without him knowing. Holmes's deductive skills are too keen not to notice an intruder.

being im over 15 i found it boring forgettable play school acting all in all a load of rubbish for kids. i didn't manage to get halfway through the first episode.
