The iCarly Reboot In On The Way And We're Answering Why Sam Won't Be Returning, and What The Rest Of The Cast Has Been Up To! Who else is feeling super nostalgic with news of the iCarly revival? We cant wait to see the reboot on Paramount+ featuring so many of our favourite iCarly actors but what can we expect from this series nearly ten years later? Well first of all Baby Spencer is back! As are actors Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor! Were also getting ready to welcome new actors who will be rounding out the cast since we wont have Sam and Gibby on the show anymore. Considering it has been nearly ten years since the show wrapped in 2012, where is the cast now? What have they been up to? Miranda Cosgrove never really left the industry, but she did spend a few years at university getting a degree in psychology! When she wasnt busy hitting the books, Cosgrove was busy doing voiceover work from the Despicable Me movies! How about Jeanette McCurdy? The actress who played Sam wont be reprising her role in part because she has stopped performing in tv and movies, putting her focus into directing, writing and music! As for Jerry Trainor, hes spent much of the past few years continuing to star in Nickelodeon shows. Actor Nathan Kress didnt stray too far from Nickelodeon either as the actor actually directed eleven episodes of Henry Danger when he wasnt busy podcasting and raising his two kids with wife London Moore that is! Gibby, AKA Noah Munck has been busy producing music while Reed Alexander left the entertainment industry completely and is now working as a Wall Street reporter for Business Insider! Well also be covering why Sam and Gibby wont be part of the iCarly reboot cast as well as what we can expect from the new and far more mature series. Who else is excited to see Miranda Cosgrove as Carly Shay again?
