Famous Stars Who Are Really Good Singers! Singing for a role can be very demanding, and can take weeks to years of preparation. Sometimes, actors who arent known to be singers put their vocal abilities to the test, taking on roles that require them to provide their voice for songs. They can surprise us with their abilities, recording memorable tunes, even winning awards for their performances in some cases. We even see some of these actors cross over into musicals, and in very rare cases, winning Tonys for their roles. Marvel stars such as Robert Downey Jr, Tom Hiddleston, and Zendaya are a few of the actors who have taken on this challenge. When doing so, many actors take vocal lessons prior to recording their songs, in order to get the best performance possible. Some actors are very shy about singing, even when they have done so for a role. Not everyone is equal in ability, but it is still surprising to hear how good some of your favorite actors sound. Some actors use post production modifications to enhance their voice, while others require little to no modification. The process of dubbing or even blending voices is still used for actors who don't have the right singing voices for their part, but there are plenty of celebrities who do sing and have showcased their vocal ability both onscreen and off.
For some actors, this meant practicing hard in order to star in a biopic. Others were stage performers before they became known for their most iconic roles.

Emilia has a sweet face and a beautiful singing voice. I never thought Jennifer Lawrence could sing well. The Hanging Tree is still one of my favorite songs, and I love J-Law! Miranda Cosgrove sings BEAUTIFULLY

Ben Barnes should have been added to this list hes sang in several of his films like Easy Virtue, Killing Bono, and Jackie and Ryan, not mentioning all the covers hes done in the past.

Zac Efron did not sing in HSM1 because the songs were already written and arranged when he was cast and they were outside his range. The sequel music was arraned with him in mind.
