The Ghostbusters are back and in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, we get the best of both worlds. Filming this movie was an epic feat and a total family affair especially since the director and writer is none other than Jason Reitman, the son of the creator of the franchise Ivan Reitman. This wasnt the only family connection though the old cast came back to be part of the movie and their connections were extremely strong for the actors new to the Ghostbusters world, it felt like joining a big, happy family. It wasnt all easy though Bill Murray really felt the difference filming all these decades later, realizing that carrying around a very heavy proton pack was far from comfortable. Luckily he decided to go allin and be part of the ride off the bat he wasnt too sure about reprising his role but reading the script managed to change his mind. While the movie was filmed a couple years before its release, the whole project has been quite hushhush since day one Stranger Things alumni Finn Wolfhard almost passed on the audition because he had no idea what the project was thankfully he took a leap of faith! The actor totally committed to his role, but unfortunately, he wasnt able to pass his driving tests, so he didnt end up driving the Ecto1 himself. Chance did major Ghostbusters fan, Josh Gad, quite the favor the actor ran into Jason Reitman in the Sony parking lot which led to Gad voicing the new ghost in the movie! The old, the new, the practical effects, the story. Everything comes together in Ghostbusters: Afterlife to create an amazing throwback to the classic franchise

This is a fun and truly 3rd Ghostbusters, and was beautiful seeing all 4 original Busters, be one a ghost, but I do hope they put it to bed now, and not milk the move franchise to death This is a fun and truly 3rd Ghostbusters, and was beautiful seeing all 4 original Busters, be one a ghost, but I do hope they put it to bed now, and not milk the move franchise to death, as so many loved films franchise's.

watched the movie, yes its ok, just feel the plot was rushed, great to see the old characters but sadly I wasn't overly impressed. My thoughts and mine alone just being honest

I honestly don't think they could've done anything better. The cast, the effects, and the tribute to Harold Ramis was just perfection. Such a fun and emotional movie.

They tried to kill and bury the nostalgia in 2016 but the nostalgia came back, even stronger than before and conquered the destined path. Thank You Jason Reitman.
