Hey TheThings fans! Were back with a new video that takes a look at why some actors are truly terrified of their co stars! Actors can be scared for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes, sheer star power is enough, like Alan Rickman. Other times, its the prosthetics, like Voldemort and Pennywise, and Baron Harkonnen, played by Stellan Skarsgrd. Sometimes, it can just be a truly lengthy filming process that leaves the actors in a constant state of anxiety, which makes them more prone to true fear. And sometimes, it comes down to acting ability alone. While clowns are creepy, Heath Legers Joker was mostly just him in a bit of white makeup. The personality he crafted for The Joker was six weeks in the making, locked away in a room by himself. Where he plotted every single mannerism. His big reveal to Michael Caine and Maggie Gyllenhaal had people dropping their lines! And first shock reaction moments are really important in the film business because it can be incredibly hard to real surprise. Lupita Nyongo intimidated her costar because she would spend time offscreen working on her character. Which was freaky, because she didnt talk! Josh Hutcherson scared Jennifer Lawrence for a whole other, more tender reason. Josh wasnt really in Mocking Jay Part 1 at all and so the only times he was, was on a screen where he looked incredibly ill, which upset Lawrence. And, Jared Leto sent a pretty weird gift to his costar. Actors will go to the ends of the Earth to get their role right, sometimes at the expense of their costars

We often take for granted how difficult it is for actors to do their jobs. If a scene or a role is particularly intense, it requires the actors to get in a darker, stranger headspace, and this can have a direct effect on their co-stars, creeping them out and even scaring them with some unpredictable or intimidating behaviour. From maniacal clowns to imposing mob bosses, the actors who inhabited these ten roles were so invested in their performances that they genuinely scared some of their fellow cast members.

I love how the child stars of IT got on so well with Bill Skarsgard off screen, that he was worried about scaring them, only for them to be totally fine after the take was finished!

I feel so bad for Shelly- she didn't deserve that. She was constantly abused by the director. She had so much trauma from filming this.
