For all you die-hard Stranger Things fans out there - you ve watched the series grow each time a new season rolled out. But did you know how much work production put into this show? Well it was - to put it lightly - a lot of hard work. Everything from the sets to costumes - not one Demogorgan was left unburned.
In order to have a successful series - you have to have a strong start. So casting was the first thing on the minds of the Duffer Brothers - and picking those kids was no easy task. But we know they nailed that aspect - what about the production design? Well, that concept only got bigger for them - as they proved to Netflix time and time again that they can deliver regardless of the budget. You know that everytime Millie Bobby Brown fought an upside down creature - that she worked completely with CGI? That s a very difficult task to complete as a teen actor. And for Sadie Sink to flawlessly execute her almost demise in Season Four - is something out of a comic book! But sometimes production's creative alternatives - become classic visuals for the audience in the end.
So who s ready to see Jamie Campbell Bower get put through the wringer for his Vecna design? We are! But seriously though - can we appreciate the time and effort these artists sacrificed to make one costume? And that one s just a small slice on the pie - there s literally copies of copies of everyone's costume on set. Some with the strangest of details! Date: 2022-09-03
