Top 10 X-Men Dawn Of X Biggest Changes So Far Dawn of X allows us to take stock of all the X-Men history previous while also moving forward. This new era of X-Men is by far one of the best yet because it doesn-t try to stand apart from the lore but it acknowledges everything that has come before it and everything that will come after it. But that doesn-t mean that it-s doing the same-old same-old. If it was, I don-t think so many of us would be excited, some people even rejoining the world of X-Men and mutants after years of being away and not picking up a single issue. Dawn of X isn-t just amazing because it acknowledges the past but it-s true genius is in that it uses that knowledge to create for mutants a new and innovative future

Yes since New Mutants what 63 or somewhere like that the one where the New Mutants faced off against Mojo and had to deal with being euthanized she's been able to communicate directly with computers ever since he and warlock begin to do that whole merge thing Cipher has also been able to read body language pretty much since his first incarnation yeah they're doing a lot more with it but that's something that he used that he could always do if it was some sort of code or encryption he could break a read it almost instantly and speak it if it was the language even language is that human mouth and vocal cords are not meant to be able to reproduce he can speak. What got me was during the search for Wolverine how it was shown that he become addicted to the internet constantly trying to fully decoded which was impossible because it was constantly growing at a speed faster than he could break down and decipher.

Thank goodness for Jonathan Hickman. He put the X-Men back on top of the Marvel universe where they belong. I loved his work on the Avengers, and knew when he was given the keys to the mutant kingdom he would give us a great story. He always plays the long game, and I'm sure there are many amazing moments yet to come. My favorite of the new books is definitely the new Excalibur book: Betsy has always been awesome, but her new costume is stunning and the book is gorgeous. Now, if they could just find a way to make Wanda a mutant again, I would be ecstatic. She is portrayed as -The Boogeyman, - on Krakoa and it would make for such a great story for her to return to the fold after the Decimation and her subsequent (justified) vilification in the mutant world.

I have nothing against the X men run. Far from it I have always loved the X men.
However I do have some thoughts regarding it.
- I feel this series prompts alcohol a lot. You see everyone drinking at multiple points.
- The gala costumes. A bit weird but hey who am I to judge.
- People's personallys seem off. For example wolverine seem super buddy buddy now. Vulcan is back and super friendly. It even gives me the idea that Xavier is manipulating everyone's minds. Which is not far fetched as he is always wearing a cerebro as well as keeping back ups of people's minds and personality.

I have my issues with a few things but after the exhausting house of M/decimation era I didn't think I would pick up another xmen book and hickman got me to do that so kudos to him. I know claremont has his issues with hickman's run and probably changes to characters he helped create like moria. that said the great pretender line will always be a classic line and the make more mutants is a rebuke to the whole house of M era so there are also certain things I love about this run.

dawn of X though fun totally corrupts the characters. They are totally doing whatever they want and saying F&; K U to rest of marvel universe also all the other heroes are not doing anything. either bring back to main world or start new universe.
Don't even get me started on. everyone all happy with all the villains and just bringing everyone back to life no matter how evil they are.
Oh and feeding mutants to the island to keep everyone happy.

Which books am I reading? More like which one am I not reading. The only one I don't have a subscription for right now is Wolverine. Also didn't get to read the Emma Frost/Jean Grey comic, thanks to Diamond not including that in their shipment to my local shop when it came out. I'm hoping that'll end up in a TPB sometime in the next year or so.

Personally, I hope Karkoa remains intact for quite a while. Seeing the great mutant powers like Magneto, Apocalypse, The X-Men ect united against a world that hates them is inspiring. I would love to see such powerful mutants show they work together to run a nation and work within the system of international law.

I-m loving DoX (Dawn of X) so much! I feel like the 5 are going to be discovered at some point by their enemies and Krakoa is going to be infiltrated and one of the 5 is going to be corrupted or murdered at some point.

I feel like MCU will go with this arc, Moira will approach Charles and shows him the fox franchise.
So he will create Krakoa, so they hide there and that's why they aren't present with the main events of Thanos.

One of the most impressive, most unusual, series I-ve ever read. It-s full of a kind of beautiful tension that adds a note of apprehension to even the most satisfying triumphs by the protagonists.
