First of welcome new nerd to our nerdom, secondly I think there is no better person to direct the third guardians of the galaxy movie better than James gunn without james gunn directing it I'm not sure that the third movie will have the same of heart and magic that made love the other two movies, Thirdly diseny come on its been ten freaking years just hire him back

Sorry to say but Gunn will NEVER do another Disney/Marvel again. Disney prides itself on being family oriented and a guy who made many bad pedophile jokes, even 10 years ago, is not going to work for Disney. I hope he can restart his career somewhere. Taika Waititi I believe would do a great job.

Honestly Ive totally on the TW train but is that doesnt happen we should all consider what Edgar Wright was able to do in Baby Driver. An amazing movie that felt like a soundtrack. The Guardians and music go hand in hand and can you imagine what Wright could do with that?

This might be an unpopular opinion but I think if neither Gunn or Waititi will direct guardians 3 then it should be brad bird. I mean after all he did direct the first really good mission impossible movie and did a great job on both incredibles movies

I think Taika Waititi should take over as Director of Guardians of the Galaxy 3. We know he can do superhero films and comedy, look at how successful Thor: Ragnarok was!
