Or you-ve read the Darth Bane Trilogy or the Darth Plageus novel and heard these names in some vague recollection by the characters. Then you should check this series out. It also features one of the most devastating wars in all of Star Wars. The series are The Golden Age of the Sith, The Fall of the Sith Empire, Knights of the Old Republic, Dark Lords of the Sith, The Sith War, and Redemption.

I really wish that Disney had gone and did the sequel series much differently. It should've gone into where the New Republic was attacked by that Alien race. Poe, Finn, and Rey could easily be inserted into this conflict instead of the sequel series conflict that we got. The sequel series needs a retcon in my opinion and a big one.

Dark Empire is the best comic book ever made and it should have been turned into the 3rd movie trilogy. It would be so awesome. Just imagine Denis Villeneuve directing it. Now we know it was just a wasted opportunity.

I can't believe you all didn't mention Vader dark visions, it's a 5 issue series but each one is a one shot! Perfect for new readers also the Age of the Republic series are also one shots!

Awesome video, I love the expanded universe/ legends, #2 dark empire and #1 legacy are two of my favorite star wars comics that darkhorse created before the recent trilogy.

Its not a comic but I would highly recommend the Darth Bane books. I only read Dynasty of Evil and it was an amazing read.
