Not a fan of getting rid of 'Legacy' characters. They put in the hard-work and earned their names throughout the decades. Just have different worlds in multiverse with their versions of 'Legacies'. Since DC has that 'dark' reputation, why not try going with more adult themes. The Hentai Universe, where superheroes n supervillains constantly get fooked by each other. No villain has ever thought of capturing a super babe and taking that V-card? Let's get real, THAT would certainly make the Top 10 Motives for Villains.

I would love to see Marvel & DC team up, like they did with Amalgam comics, and create characters that are children from Marvel/DC relationships. Like the child of Captain America & Wonder Woman, Deadpool & Harlequin, Nightwing & Rogue. I once wrote a fanfic where the DCAU Justice League & the 90's animated X-Men teams got trapped in Limbo together & hooked up. It was fun figuring out what a half kryptonian capable of wielding the Phoenix Force would be like

Jon Kent killing his cat by accident sounds a lot like the showwriters of -The Boys- stole a plot point and reworked it for their season 2 finale when Homelander's son kills his mom by accident with heat vision.
Even Westworld acknowledges rehashing plot points in other parts of the park. If it's a good story, it always works.
