Batman isn't one of the most POWERFUL members. You can say he's probably one of the most DANGEROUS but, from a -power standpoint. - No. And also. No Phantom Stranger? No Firestorm? No Metamorpho? No Zatanna? Superman himself has said that the Martian Manhunter is the most powerful person on the planet. Also, I don't believe Clark would be able to take almost any high level magic user since Magic is one of his weaknesses.

Sorry, but DC canon has WW as #2. Demi-God with bracelets that CONTAIN her power. Not to mention spending a lifetime of training as an Amazon warrior. Even Batman described her as the -best melee fighter he has ever seen-. In raw power and speed, Supes all the way. Martian Manhunter should be top 5 and Supergirl on the list above powergirl. Fun debate though.

There are some characters that are worthy to be put on the list that they didn't mention, but let's face it. There are just way too many super incredibly powerful heros on the Justice League. We got characters like Zatanna, Aquaman, Raven, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle. Orion, John Constantine, Starfire, Supergirl, etc.

I believe Batman should be #1. He-s proven he can defeat Khryptonians as a matter of course. He has a knack for finding and exploiting any weakness, making him very difficult to defeat. Let-s also not forget his two other great abilities: he-s rich and he-s not wearing hockey pads!

It's unfortunate that Oliver queen neither John Constantine is not in the list.
And I think that batman deserves a higher position because he has all the plans and gadgets to end the justice league and he is the best detective alive

just for people who think this list means that someone lower on the list couldn't beat someone higher than them, this list is about the most powerful, meaning who has the largest power/energy reserves to fuel their superpowers, not who could beat who in a fight!

I know how tough, resourceful and badass Batman is, and how well-liked by many fans, but the definition of powerful can not be different for him. Take him out of the list and include another powerful heavyweight like Firestorm.

I stopped watching when hal wasnt lower than superman. Superman cannot beat him. He can make kryptonite with his ring-. he once made his own ring out of his own will power. He shouldnt be one but he should be close
