I don t truly care if she gets the role or not, its on brand enough even if I don t personally care for Taylor Swift.
My issue is simple: Every A-list celeb with middling to no acting talent that gets casted takes opportunity away from a newer or upcoming actress with genuine acting talent who we would maybe never know otherwise.

I m generally not interested in Taylor Swift but her appearing as a live action Dazzler would be cool. Great casting for the character and hopefully the Dazzler character is respected and not just made a joke.
