Godzilla is Japan's Superman. Godzilla would gain a new upper strength level or ability to be as strong as he needs to be. Superman is always as strong as he needs to be (except for Death of Superman comics) to win. That is also how Godzilla is written but more creatively. Godzilla would beat everyone on this list if he is kept true to his nature, except Superman. He and Superman would either destroy the planet or agree to a stalemate. Godzilla's electricity and nuclear energy absorption would mutate to him being able to absorb Superman's heat vision attack to give him power. Fighting Superman would also trigger his ability to fly-kick an enemy from very far away make him mutate to simply fly. Superman attacking him via super-speed would make Godzilla mutate to have his healing factor and adaption make attacks he cannot follow be things he can ignore through some kind of quantum thing in his scales. Godzilla is Japan's Superman. If you are about to argue Goku, go to bed. It's a school day.

You clearly missed the most obvious hero who could take down Godzilla: Saitama
It might take him selveral hits, but he could _easily_ defeat the giant lizard.
As for the rest of the list, Hercules flipping him on his back is hardly -taking him down-, unless you consider that every night when you go to bed you are -taken down-, which is just plain idiotic!
