Ahem, as was explained in the movie, anything that changes during the past, wouldn't change the future of the current timeline, rather make an alternate timeline.
For each stone that was taken from the past, a new timeline would be created where that stone didn't exist.
Thus explaining that even though Loki may have escaped when they traveled back in time, (I don't know what they are talking about in the video, as I can't remember having seen Loki escape when Thor and Rocket traveled back in time) Loki will still have died in the timeline that Thor and Rocket traveled from, although Loki escaping would have created, yet another, alternate timeline.
