Jean Grey and other psychics have complained that their powers make it difficult to keep their own thoughts separate from everyone around them. Superman has complained that he feels like he lives in a world made of tissue paper. And as many of said, those whose powers changed their physical appearance to look bizarre wish they looked normal even if they do not regret their actual powers. Nightcrawler, among others, loves his main powers (his agility and teleportation) but does not like his appearance and this his blend into shadows and prehensile tail powers.

Sasha, you are lovely, engaging, and amazing and this was yet another great list from you. I often think Nightcrawler would prefer to be -normal- as well. Additionally, Black Widow seems to wish she could have a family and not be a top tier assassin/spy/tormented soul. Of course, we Marvel-heads looooove their back stories as they add flavor and the requisite push needed to spur our heroes into action. But, strictly speaking from a more humanistic and empathetic place, I can see why most superheroes would rather not be.

In the comics, Starfire was set apart from humanity (or should I say, American / civilized culture) because of her willingness / uninhibited nature to express love. This was mainly exhibited in her ability to learn new languages through physical contact, which she implemented through kissing the person who had the foreign language. (Actually, this might have made her more POPULAR than struggling to fit in. Hey, who's gonna say no to that)

In all honesty the problem with the thing is that Reed Richards spend all his time trying to Perham back permanently he had time to stand that bends body was permanently changed just like everyone else is in order to make been happy what breed needed to do was figure out a way for Ben to turn his powers on and off if Ben could be human when he wanted to be human then he probably would have been fine

Cyclops, maybe. Punisher? Actually, he's crazy, and when given a chance to have his family back, he killed them again. Scarlet Witch, for some emo reason. Invisible Girl? Starbrand? Deadpool? Jean Grey. Chamber. Mettle. BLADE. GHOST RIDER! SENTRY! Make a part 2 of this list, please. I'm sure I'm just scratching the surface.

Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, wanted a normal life with a husband and kids. I think that she has come to terms with
what she is (no matter what retcons and/or changes occur. It would have been better if the writers had gradually developed
her powers instead of not being exactly sure what to do with her.

I really dislike the retcon of the Hulk. The original version, as a horrible, yet heroic accident, was so pure. Saving Rick Jones from the gamma bomb was totally selfless. That Banner was largely responsible for the explosion made his sacrifice even more meaningful. These days, well.

What about Strong Guy, Guido Carosella, from the New Mutants. His ability to convert kinetic energy into physical strength, caused him so much pain and suffering. He gets brainwashed into murdering someone. Plus he died, was resurrected, lost his soul, then got it back.

Correction: Mariko Yashida didn't become Lady Deathstrike. LD is Yuriko Oyama. Mariko, however, did eventually become the Crimson Samurai.

On Wolverine, kinda combined Lady Deathstrike (Yuriko Oyama) with Mariko Yashida. Two separate characters that has history with Wolvy.
