I enjoyed Avatar: The Last Airbender as a kid but enough to get into the lore and other stuff so I don't know too many names.
Personally, I felt in the show's original finale Ang should've killed the ruler of the Fire Nation instead of simply taking away his powers. I mean for all the death he caused, he deserved it. But of course, the show was aimed towards children so, the series couldn't have actually shown the act of killing but they could've done it off-screen. Honestly, I ignored the second series they followed up with because Ang didn't finish the guy off. I believe it was warranted.

I Absolutely Love watching Aquaman letting his Villainous brother, Oum/Ocean Master fall and die, Samurai Jack finally finishing off Aku for good, Brion killing his Heartless uncle, Prince Lee-Char blowing up his father's Merciless Assassin, Leonardo finishing off Super Shredder for good and The Ocean Spirit takes Zhao's life! These are all the Best Cartoon Revenge Kills I've ever seen Throughout the Years!

I've always thought Zhao refusing Zuko's hand could be interpreted two ways:
1) He didn't want to be saved by someone he thought was beneath him
or (and this one's unlikely)
2) He knew he was a goner and didn't want Zuko to die too
