A lot of people don't know about this one, but Infection (also known as Invasion) from 2005. The entire movie (an hour and 21 minutes) is a single non-stop take that's filmed from a cop car cam. The movie is average, but the fact that it's all one take, very impressive, and you wonder how many times they had to film to get it right.

More great long takes in movies? Well, I was at a bachelor party one time, and you wouldn't believe this flick they showed. Damn, I hope that actress got paid well.
Children is a stunningly good movie, and that scene is a standout among many great scenes. Can't imagine anyone but Owen in that role. Well, maybe Daniel Craig.

What about Run, LOLA, Run, or Before Sunset, 12 Angry Men and the mother of all one takes Timecode. It has 4, 93 minute scenes all running in real time with one another, with the final section of the movie, culminating in all 4 scenes winding up in the same location, everyone winding up on all 4 cameras.

I remember watching Children of Men for my film studies class, and us all staring at the screen in mute horror during the car scene. It's extremely effective at placing you in the same headspace as the characters, wanting desperately to escape the terrifying situation, but being unable to do so.

What about the long shot in Pulp Fiction when Butch( Bruce Willis) goes back to get his watch that his father gave him via his buddy keeping it in his ass during the war! LOL See what I did there? It is a long sentence for a reason!

You guys missed Scarlett Johansson s like 8 minute straight therapy scene in marriage story. I was severely impressed by it as she doesn t break once and talks for a good 8 minutes without the camera cutting away from her.

Even though I figured you would not put it on this list, I'm still kind of shocked you didn't even mention the entire first 13 minutes of Snake Eyes with the camera seamlessly moving all around an entire stadium.

DUDE! Clive Owen as bond! I'd love that, I think he's a supremely underrated actor. Look at his king Arthur thing, or shoot em up, children of men, last knights, killer elite, and sin city

If 1917 is on here, Hardcore Henry should be, also. That being said, this is a great list and all of these movies are amazing (though I've never seen #1, so thanks for the recommendation.

This is a very weird list. Extraction 2 has one of the most impressive 1 shots ever. John Wick 4, the overhead shotgun sequence. So many better sequence than what was chosen

The long-shot is really my favorite movie technique, even if it features hidden cuts. I love the bullet opening of Lord of War and the 21 minute fight scene in Extraction 2.

Kudos for finally putting The Protector and Touch of Evil on a list
Great calls on The Player and Hard Boiled. Top 3 are very solid.

Surprised The Raid wasn't added.
Speaking of raids, the raiding scene from The Northman was great, I always love seeing that spear being thrown back.

How do none of these lists even mention Victoria (2015) just a german heist movie shot in one take (no sneaky edits) but no mention here

Uh, why was Birdman not even mentioned? Considering the entire film was shot as a single take, that seems to be quite an omission.

I m surprised you didn t mention Extraction and Extraction 2 s long take on this list. Or at least in some honourable mentions.
