If anyone is looking for a definitive horror film loosely based around the "Slender Man" concept then check out David Prior's 2020 film The Empty Man. The film had a rough release because 20th Century Fox completely dropped the bag and had no idea what they had on their hands. They spent zero dollars actually advertising the film and just dumped it on VOD. Thankfully it has found a cult following and truly is great. It has an absolute bananas ending that works.

Blood and honey is superior to exorcist believer and most paranormal possession films. and it's especially better than blumhouse's halloween trilogy. also, you usually PRAISE the ring remake, now it's one of the WORST ( which it is and it's sequel) but, cmon watchmojo, get it together. missed hereditary, midsommer and, yea. this list is bad

Me personally I didn’t even think the 1st BW was that good and Jason V in space was doomed to fail from the start and exactly what the narrator said about Halloween 2 is why that failed

I actually enjoyed Jason X only cause I was a kid when it came out and I had watched it a lot around my preteen and teenager years
The second Rob Zombie Halloween movie was weird even for me watching it as a kid at the time I thought his first one was ok

Yeah, Winnie the Pooh blood and honey looks like a poor man’s version of Disney’s Christopher Robin from 2018. On top of it, this pooh bear is quite a Pooh your pants at the sight of him bear. To reference Winnie the Pooh’s oh bother series of books, Oh bother, someone’s killing people

I remember seeing Jason X on Tv which is on AMC fear fest 2023 but unfortunately it was the worst jason film like Jason goes to Hell (1993) cause i was watching a marathon of Friday the 13th & Nightmare on Elm Street series and this is film was the worst except Freddy vs. Jason (2003)

I personally think that the 2000s produced the worst horror movies of the history: the originals are weak, most of the remakes are terrible and the sequels to big franchises are the worst possible (Blair Witch 2, Halloween: Resurrection, Scream 3. )

First off, I am so glad that I don’t have ANY of these films in my Library. And secondly, now that I know which movies are at the bottom of the list, I’m going to use these films as reference for what separates the best from the worst horror films.

I loved "one missed call" man. It was such a classic horror for the 2000's. Like i get it wasn't the greatest and seemed like a copy but man that ringtone scared the hell out of me as a teenager. I loved it. Just a classic dumb horror

Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey is pretty atrocious. But I still weirdly enjoyed it. But it had probably the worst acting I've ever seen in any horror film. Hoping the acting is at least slightly better in the sequel.

In my huge opinion, The Devil Inside is one of the WORST horror movies I’ve ever seen. Although I did like how actor Malcolm Wayans parodied it in the beginning of A Haunted House 2

I’ve got to say, I only watch a horror to see if it’ll give me a scare, but this new era of making horrors based off of holidays, or Disney characters is creatively lame and lazy!
