Control has been her life from birth, and the one time she took it for herself, she did a bad thing. I never know how to feel about this especially as it seems her ex seemed to be on the higher spectrum of autism and seemed to be presumably coerced. From a psychological pov, it's unnerving. But from a humanistic pov, it's understandable. I guess the real question is. was there another way and why was this way taken

Premeditated murder is never right. but Gypsy really had little to no choice. Dee Dee not only threatened her, but made it absolutely clear if it was a choice between the gravy train or Gypsy's life, Gypsy's life wasn't worth anything to her. Like it or not, Gypsy deserves the life her mother tried to deny her by using her in her Munchausen By Proxy schemes.

Poor Gypsy, she obviously regrets having to resort to matricide, but she had tried to run away and call the police several times, only to be punished every time. She clearly saw no other way out of her toxic predicament. I honestly wish her all the best going forward.

I’m sure we get that the mother is suffering from some illnesses herself but how she controlled her daughters life, basically treating her like a pawn to get money, lavish things and manipulate every high organization is really evil.

So happy she’s free. She should have never been convicted. But the way she said it’s nice about being in prison bc she’s free of her mom’s control broke my heart; I had tears running down my face before I could even stop them.

I hope that her future is equally as positive as her childhood was so negative. She gets to have what she wants now and has a platform to expose this kind of abuse.

For me, I feel really bad for her. Her mother was a mentally ill woman, but she was also abusive. Sometimes, the abused will just snap.
