I 100% agree on number 1 worst! Godzilla has always been the one with a lot of attention when it comes of being one of the main characters or the main character overall which he is in every movie but in GxK: the new empire he was treated like he was in 2014 and acted like a lazy sidekick to Kong than the all mighty King Of The Monsters we all love and care for in all of our hearts however I am not upset about Godzilla's screen time this was more about Kong's story than Godzilla's story and thats okay at least Godzilla was still the same badass every time he was on screen yes he was mostly sleeping, yes he only fought 2 other monsters besides Shimo and Skar King and Kong that lasted for a few seconds but cmon its fricking Godzilla man every time hes on screen its a good time no matter what he does!

Godzillas new design is a major improvement. Hopefully they continue to use a similar version of it in the future.
-Main villians should of been introduced sooner
Lots of fights throughout
- Some fights are very short especially Godzilla going up against his foes. Should of stretched them out to at least two minutes each instead of 30 seconds.
Kong has a great story and given lots to do.
-Godzilla needed more screen time.
Mothra is back
- Even with limited screen time the human characters were probably the worst in the franchise. If a sequel happens Id like a new cast of characters.
Godzilla and Kong teaming up has been a lot of fun.
- I wish they didnt wait until the last act of the film to have Godzilla and Kong fighting together.

I wish these modern Godzilla teaming with Kong movies would actually write Godzilla as a protagonist.
He is supposed to be protecting the balance of nature on Earth, but he behaves like Deebo from the Friday film franchise, just a giant reckless bully. He goes wherever he wants. He takes whatever he wants. He attacks other kaiju with out direct provocation. Hey writers, that is not how a PROTAGONIST behaves.
To make matters worse, this particular movie came out right after the destruction of Baltimore's Key Bridge by a cargo ship. In the movie, Godzilla's back fins obliterated three bridges in succession, killing dozens of innocent people.

It is a totally awesome movie! I remember growing up as a Godzilla fan, only dreaming of a day to see something like this. Now that it is here it, gives me serious vibes of my inner child loving the monster movies. If the entertainment industry was smart they should bring back Saturday Matinees with a double feature of Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla x Kong. Bring back the old candy like Big Hunk, milk duds, and red hots- with a good dose of popcorn and have a blast watching monster movies.

the worst thing that could happen is the franchise is so great that unnecessary extension will bring them to Fast and Furious Universe
Godzilla having little screen time despite being the main character is NOT a bad thing.
The build up/waiting for him could do more for the movie than always seeing him swim chasing anything.

I actually really like the story and action scenes they gave Kong in this movie
He had a wholesome relationship with Suko and had intense interactions with The Scar King
And even though Godzilla didn’t have quite as many action scenes as Kong in this movie, Big G’s presence was still greatly and appropriately felt

If Adam Wingard makes his trilogy-capper, he either needs to make Godzilla the actual star or don't call it a Godzilla film, because this was a fun movie, but it's not a Godzilla movie. It's more a Kong: Skull Island sequel instead of a GvK sequel.

Greatest Movie Thus Far For 2024.
Absolutely brilliant camera work, overall wonderful plot & most importantly seeing Godzilla using his atomic breath Amazing.
It's a great movie experience especially in 3D. You won't regret it

This movie was a huge let down. They introduced the antagonist way too late in the moive and he never felt like a threat. Plus I could have done without the humans pushing the plot forward. I was looking forward to this too.

Agreeable, Godzilla was barely in the movie. Either Adam Wingard make a Godzilla movie or he make a Kong sequel (since he clearly favors Kong more) while Legendary get someone else or Gareth Edwards to direct Godzilla 3

The movie was marvelous! And I love the ending where Kong is finally known as king Kong. Can't wait for the next movie which will definitely focus on Godzilla's new battle, origin and a new villain.

Ren Serizawa was such a wasted character: a bitter son who feels Godzilla stole his Father's love and attention away from him, and wants to kill all the Kaijus because of that.

Kinda hoping we see Ultraman & Ultrawoman fighting alongside Kong & Godzilla. It would give the Human Characters something more to do.
