I loved Michael Bay's Transformers movies when I was younger, but they really needed better writers. I'm a fanboy who stands by the belief that if Hollywood wants to keep making sequels and adaptations of popular franchises, then they should hire writers who have already written comics and novels for those franchises. With the exception of the action scenes, Bay's movies just couldn't do The Transformers justice in terms of storytelling, which is a real shame because there are so many great Transformers comics with well-written stories and characters that the Bay films lack. Hopefully the new Transformers movies can correct this.

I enjoyed these movies when I was younger, but now I prefer to watch movies with higher quality writing. Something that most of Michael Bay’s movies, including his take on the Transformers franchise, lack. Bumblebee is by far the best live action Transformers movie, and Bay wasn’t in the director’s chair for that one, which was refreshing for a change.

For Michael Bay Transformers movies were amazing and I find it funny how when they came out everybody agreed with that but then it became a popular opinion to hate on them for some reason and then the sheep who can't formulate their own opinions just tagged along with that people these days are just complete idiots who can't make their own opinions

Look The (2007 - 2017) Transformers Film Series definitely had its Flaws but They Were Incredible and They were Definitely were Part of My Childhood and I will always be grateful that Michael Bay Brought The Transformers to Live Action after There Introduction to The World in 1984.

Ill give these movies credit, i do love the first movie and the rest before Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts (as ive read from scores and fans) turn sour, they can be a lil bit of guilty pleasure in cinema.
The easily offended folk can keep crying all they want all day.

One extra thing I will say is Bay never sequel baits. With his upping the ante with every movie, they could stop making Transformers movies at any time and people could say that was a good note to leave on. But they kept asking him to make another.

I do love how some nostalgia can make everything from the past seem like a masterpiece, I remember when this movies came out they were the most hated movies in existence bashed to oblivion, but with nostalgia everyone is like ahead of it's time

I've watched all 7 live action transformers movies, and I can say that the Michael Bay films are still better. I made a horrible mistake buying both of the transformers reboot movies aka bumblebee and transformers rise of the beasts.

So the best things about the Bay movies are technical stuff, great voice actors being wasted, Psychomus Prime, Linkin Park's b-material and the first movie being okay. I'll stick to Bumblebee and the cartoon movie, thanks.

Bays Transformers are freaking awesome the cgi holds up to this day. The action over the top like it should be. They also look badass i really liked his take on it. One of my top favorite movie franchises hands down

Sadly, after bumblebee in 2018 and the rise of the beast, I moved on to mecha anime like recently Gundam, the witch from mercury and then a couple months later the release day of armored core 6 fires of Rubicon

There is NOTHING REDEEMING ABOUT THESE PIECES OF TRASH!
Bumblebee and Rise of the beasts were the ONLY good ones. That is because they feel like transformers and NOT like whatever these 5 movies were.

I love how some of the items on this list are just the different ways of saying the same thing Also for CGI section it's mentioned that the characters are easily distinguishable Not sure I agree with that one.

Do a Best Optimus Prime moments on the Michael Bay's Transformers movies. For me, the best thing of the movies is Optimus Prime, and Peter Cullen delivers a killer performance of the character.

the vfx for this movie is honestly way better than some of the current movies. Too bad the writing wasn't there but if it was then this would've been golden.
