I so wish there was another X-men movie in where Alkali-Transigen was exsposed and shut down. The goverment cease all means of x-gene suppression so mutants will start returning. With more open-mind humans restarting Xavior's schools but expanding them around. All cause the world learned of Alkali-Transigen not only discriminative-genocidal crimes, but also wanting to produce mutant slave soldiers to sale. That would b resting in peace film for me; less worring of what is to come for mutants.

What about Caesar in War For The Planet Of The Apes He definitely wasn’t a clean cut hero. Also Iron Man/Tony definitely made some morally grey decisions so he wasn’t either until Avengers: Endgame when Thanos almost destroyed and recreated the multiverse how he wanted it to be
