If WBD were smart (and it appears they aren't, they not only should have shelved Velma from continuation, removed it from the platform, made sure everyone involved got a single severance check in stead of paying residuals, and written it off on the company's taxes. Which would be the only case for writing a show off. Hollywood should just take a break for a year to get their shit together instead of shelling out projects they hope are hits, which appears nowadays that they turn out to be box-office bombs.

It kind of buffles me how a very bad show can get a second season Like I know Higher-ups do not know how the process works and how to make a good show But even they should see Some red flags of a very bad show They green lit If it was something like a Family Guy rip-off okay fine It will be bad But at least It wouldn't take away your soul like Some of these shows on this list I sometimes question their decisions

Not because a show sucks on its first season it shouldn't get renewed. Look at Star Trek shows for example. The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Picard. it took them MORE than one season to become legimately good. As long as they end up in the right hands a show that sucked could work on its second or third round. Again, in the right hands.

I just want to point out that Velma getting hate watched isn't the main reason why it got a 2nd Season. It's the higher ups that are to blame. It was always going to get greenlit no matter what. Kiss my ass, Warner Discovery!

It’s such a shame Scoob Holiday Haunt got canceled while that piece of trash Velma got a second season I’d wish we had gotten Scoob Holiday Haunt it would’ve been 1000% better than Velma season 2 even if not everyone liked it

I hated Velma and honestly i freaking wish that it doesn't deserve seasons! Definitely agreed for Velma to be on there cause honestly, I just wish it doesn't exist especially for it to ruin Scooby Doo!
