I'm very happy for the better reception for Jennifer's Body, Man of Steel, Marie Antoinette, Spider-Man 3 and the first Twilight. I was always a big fan of them, particularly Jennifer's Body I love that mocie, and it's cool to see people being nicer and coming around to them.
However, as a big Star Wars fan ever since I was a kid, and one who did grew up with the Prequels. I can't understand why these movies are being now acclaimed. Episode III is okay besides being super flawed, the score for all of them are amazing and I love the Clone Wars show. But Episode I and II are just terrible films and even having some nostalgia for them, I can't get past the horrible dialogue and acting, or the convoluted plot and heavy handed effects. I'm glad for those who fully love the prequels entirely, but I don't get it. Not hating them is fine by me, but calling them masterpieces That's just too much of an exaggeration for me.

I’m so glad to see all the love Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) has been getting in recent years. I grew up with it and it was the first Star Wars movie I ever saw in theaters. I grew up loving the prequel Star Wars. I'm 28 and just hate what Disney had ruined. The squeal trilogy only had a one good film, and the rest are some of the worst Star Wars movies. Solo and Rouge One are not bad, though.
Spider-Man 3 is very flawed and decades later. Sony still doesn't get Venom. But, hey, I love Venom for the campy fun they are and Tom Hardy profromace.

I saw return of the Jedi in theaters. I was so mad at the first two prequels but I really liked episode 3. Over time it’s become my favorite of all the star wars movies. I don’t know how that happened but when I want to watch a Star Wars movie I always go for episode 3. It was really amazing (sans cheesy lines at times but all of the movies have those)

Spider-man 3 had the opposite affect on me. When I first saw it, I thought it was fine, just a little more fast-paced than the second one. When I watched it recently, I noticed how many goofy plotholes were present. Ironically, the box office numbers are inversely proportional to audience and critic's ratings of the Raimi Trilogy.

I have ALWAYS been down to champion Miami Vice's big screen outing. I put it in the same category as The A-Team as the benchmark of how to do a TV-to-movie project the right way. I've been lucky enough to see Miami Vice in the theater and I can say without a doubt that it's the best way to take in that film.

Alien 3 assembly cut made a big difference, its better than the theatrical, but I wish the cg alien wasnt so dated looking.
Speed Racer is fun watch and has a message about corporate influence and family. I watched it in the theater release like 2 and half times.
Cloud Atlas is a masterpiece.

I highly enjoyed Zack Snyder’s films, including Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and his version of Justice League. At first, I didn’t like Keaton Batman for being lethal, but thanks to Batman v Superman, I got over with a lethal Batman, and I grew to like both Keaton and Affleck’s Batman.

People who prefered the prequel trilogy glossed over the offensive stereotypes. If those stereotypes like Jar Jar popped up in all of disney’s stuff, then it would all be fully verified as bad & by that logic, Michael Bay’s Transformers films would then be gradually becoming liked too

Miami Vice is unwatchable. Speed Racer is good for insomnia. Jonathan Kent is the only thing I don't like about Men of Steel. The Village is gorgeous. Spider-Man 3 evil Spider-Man is cringy as well as venom. Twilight casting is trash. Finally I love episode 1 but Jar Jar is vomit

I wouldn’t say Revenge of the Sith was always hated, it was more split back in the 2000’s and early 2010’s some loved it and some hated it. Phantom Menace and Attack of The Clones on the other hand wow have people come around on them

I still don't like Age of Ultron but I used to really hate it. Caleld Whedon a hack before it was even cool to hate him.
Looking back, compared to recent MCU, AoU was made with intent. There were still thought in the filmmaking.

Venom wasn’t terrible because of atop her Grace. He did alright with what he had to work with. Venom was bad because he was just a third ranked villain and wasn’t given the respect the character deserved!

I mean Spiderman 3 would have been fine without Venom maybe the symbiote its excistence and give it as a teaser to the next film. I mean Sandman as the main villain and Harry Osborne would have been fine

I rewatched all Star Wars movies and shows during the pandemic and the prequels were even more awful than I remember. But I like how Clone Wars recontextualized the characters. Still don't like them, though

We need to add the 1993 Super Mario Bros. to this list. It got completely lambasted back in the 90s but it's become an appreciated cult classic.
And Street Fighter (1994) as well, if only for Raul Julia.

It's the opposite for me on Man of Steel. I used to think it was alright, had several bad parts.
Now, I think it's bad all around. The only good thing left standing is Michael Shannon as Zod.

I don't have problem with the prequel trilogy. I was growing up on them so they are nostalgic. I see the flaws, but I don't care. Same with Spider Man 3, this is my favorite one actually.
