I have spent three years really unwell (not leaving the house or communicating with friends, and having to move back into my childhood home) as a result of whistleblowing in a new job, being victimised, slandered, fired and waiting for court proceeding to get justice. validation and recompense.
In July we exchange witness statements and the final hearing will be September. This week I met with people I've asked to be witnesses for me and learned that what I thought was going on was correct and actually worse than I'd discovered in my whistleblowing investigation. I felt I had true allies for the first time in years, that this really is the beginning of the end of a horrible time and I will soon be able to plan for a future where I can use what I've learned from this.
Objectively I knew justice would come in one form or another, but in the depths of the pain, feeling alone and like a failure, I had started to believe some of the awful lies told to discredit me and that the varied legal attacks might break me. but nah, I'm still here, have nothing to lose and am rightfully enraged, indignant, healing and full of hope, ideas and a sense of community.

EDIT: OMG, ran into pile2 - I moved from capital city to small (minded) town, for a job running a charity - they employed me for my broad extensive experience working on the topics for 20yrs and with the methodologies they needed (tryna be obtuse for confid) - this is where I discovered mis-doings, was a whistleblower, and was bullied, lied about and was sacked - my witnesses told me this week that there is a whole decades long, party political nepotistic landscape I was entirely unaware of.

About issues I had in the past with them and how everything keeps going round and round same behaviours and actions fromthis one individual I've been with for 8 years, and my reactions actions and behaviours how it's caused me to feel and behave and how I am not doing it no more and starting to see full clarity to say no more enough is enough but need to see before I make a judgement once and for all

Pile 2 i had a really traumatic time in my teens i was put in a hostel alone at 16 i had no support bad things happend to me that i still struggle with the authorites didnt believe me and made me homeless i then was in a domestic violent relationship and had my daughher it has caused me housing and stability issues my whole life im 31 now my daughyer is 13 and im finding myself having to deal with the same authoritys all those years ago its scary but i will get my rights back!
