I have patches in the exact same spot where he does, although it seems the longer I ignore those two areas on my chin when trimming up my beard the thicker it gets. I'm 26 and they've become less and less noticeable through the years, I might try minoxidil on the patches. It's weird, me and my dad can grow facial hair but my older brother can't.

All true, bar the stop shaving bit. My friend is currently on a course at London School of Barbering and he-s been told that if you wet shave the hairs that grow thin they will thicken up and grow quicker. So if you-re struggling simple wet shave every other day
