I don't know what you people are complaining about, but I have been wearing Dr. Materns (and yes, Made in Asia) for more than a decade, and I must say I cannot find any more comfortable and durable men's boots. Of course, I have more than just one pair, and I maintain them. Again, maintenance means applying Dubin wax once a month and rotating among pairs. Plus, you can get regular ones at a good deal, while Made in England ones are never at a discounted price.
Once, I took one to a local cobbler for a custom adjustment, and their response was that the boot was made of -very good quality leather-. So, I would rather hear what a local cobbler says than some -experts- on the internet, whose main grudge may just be - why the production was moved from England.

This list is full of brands that are made of inferior materials which lamentable. Mostly because buying some of these shoes with no welts or inferior leathers does not ensure long term life with sole replacement. That being said, my own list is as follow:

These are expensive but well worth the initial investment. My oldest pair of boots are nearly 8 years old and still going strong.

I came to watch this video because I just ordered a pair of Chelsea boots all because I'm turning 30 and I gotta get out these shoes that make me look too young. I'm actually nervous not knowing if I will like them or not. So I wanted a good review on Chelsea boots to give me some confidence. I ordered a nice pair in my taste, hope I like em. Can anyone help me with my choice? Should i choose Chelsea boots or military boots? I like the look of chleseas tho but i want a pair of boots for rough and rainy days and comfy wear for most of my week days since my Sneakers will get dirty and not so comfy if i try to do so and trainers dosen't look much fashionable.

Honestly I-m a little late to the boot game but I-ve been starting to love them and wear them daily. they are comfortable and you just look better wearing certain boots. great video I don-t know I can style Chelsea boots but ankle boots are my favorite so far

Chelsea boots are terrible. Literally look like womens boots. For years, I thought men were buying womens foot wear to make some kind of feminist statement.

A big IXNAY on Doc Martens boots. That PVC outsole is soft and cushiony, but it wears down very quickly -- months rather than years -- if you do any sppreciable amount of walking on it.
