I went from red back to brown and the first appointment was about 4 hours long and it still had a red undertone. At that appointments we did go darker than what I originally intended and it still had a red undertone. I recently had a second appointment and just decided to cut a few inches off to get rid of some of the red and we also did dye it a bit again with the brown and. it still has a red undertone. So

I went red to blonde two months ago, been coloring my hair RED af for 12 years. Took me two bleach sessions (not in the same day) and two toning sessions to get my hair to a very yellow blonde with bands (meh. Bleach bath weeks later and now my hair is still pretty yellow but a decent white blonde and didnt over process thanks to you Brad and your amazing advice. Fugging love you!

i just went from 2 years of red (box dye permanent oh boy) to ash blonde a few days ago! After years of learning and watching your videos, i did go to a professional for once and it only took 4 hours and she charged me $160 because i was special to her: ) i am so happy blonde and I'm also so thankful i didn't do it myself because i would have definitely had to shave my head

Question: I know this is an older video but I'm a dark redhead and wanted to know If I dye my hair vibrant blue and purple, will my red hair come back on it's own? The undercut doesn't lighten because it doesn't have the heat like that longer hair that's smudged in between another hair strands. It only lightens like 0, 5cm at the last 10-20minutes. That's why you shouldn't wait so long to do your roots anyways. Take care of the lengths first and then do the f. n roots.

I use 40v with the lightest color blonde i get depending on color product of I don't wanna go with bleach. But with bleach. I stick with 30v bc that's a bit much! The best lightener I've found to use is the schwarzkopf blonde me! Anyone know if there's a better one? I love that bleach though!

When I went from red to blonde I remembered what brad said and coated the crap out of it with bleach, let it sit an hour, then washed it, waited a day and then toned it. I waited a day bc I was being lazy not for any other reason- anyway or came out platinum so it worked

Brad mondo, QUESTION. Can you bleach your hair and just do ends and not roots and do another round where you do oppisite? Or the other way? To roots first and another round on ends? Sorry for my english hope you understand. Maybe you have a video on it?

I wish people were okay with taking their time going to blonde. Choose a dark h lined first. Keep it like that for a month, baby your hair. Then go a medium blonde. Another month, babying. Then platinum. You dont have to do it all within a few days

Why are all stylist against 40 volume I always opt for it and will use the 50 if I find it my sister is a stylist and always tells me to get less then 40 I'm not a stylist yet I need to go back and finish but I rock with 40 volume the long way

T18 is literally useless if your hair isnt level 9 and a half or 10. When I went from box black to blonde I used T14 instead since it has more pigment. my hair wouldnt get light enough for T18 even if I disintegrated it with bleach lol.
