Hairdressers guide to cutting your own hair and not ruining it Miranda: Thanks for the tutorial! As a mom of 5 and a single income household I dont really have the time or $$ to spend on a hair cut so Ive done my own hair for the last 5-6 years and Ive been looking for a new straight forward way to make a simple hair cut work without all of the trendy TikTok hair cuts that may or may not work. My husband bought me a pair of lefty hair cutting shears for Xmas one year and they work amazing. Thanks again.

I am a guy, and my hair is roughly shoulder length, but I am cutting it because I want it to grow faster, length is my goal but I would say im still in the growing faze. My hair is naturally wavy with curls at the tips, definitely not curly hair. Does this video apply to me? I'm just trying to cut my hair but any barber shop or salon is roughly an hour away. Could anyone help me? I don't want to royally screw up my hair.

just cut my sister's hair and i've gotta say i'm really proud of myself: D we both think it looks good and she's really happy! thanks a lot!
ps the hairdressers in my town always make 40 yo school teacher haircut and we never liked it, this was a great experience
oh right i used school scissors because that's what we had. don't use them, it's really hard to cut with those, possible, but really hard

i just followed this tutorial to give myself a blunt bob (YES I CUT ACROSS) and i cannot BELIEVE how well it turned out, literally right out of the gate. 4 cuts, trim a tiny piece in the back, and my hair is full and even and fits into the perfect tiny ponytail and I LOVE IT. i literally had a harder time cutting my daughter's curly hair than my own straight hair which astonishes me.

So my hair was down to my butt but had a lot of damage and I was really wanting to save myself some money plus there's many many times I went to the salon and they cut off more than I asked them to. I followed this video and while I didn't have to cut off a good amount it turned out pretty good and I really appreciate the tips! Thanks Brad Mondo!

bradmondo I did this tutorial just a few days ago, and I totally wish I had thought to do a before and after. I have thick, long hair and took maybe an inch or two off. I love the way my hair turned out. I did have to do a few minor trims to get a straight across cut, but this tutorial was so easy to follow along! Thank you so much!

just followed the cut your own bangs tutorial (i have had front bangs for a year always from the salon so just used it to not botch a bang trim and they literally turned out exactly like they do from the salon) and showed my mom and now she wants me to cut her hair so following this so i can cut her hair as successfully

This actually looks kinda tricky, I recommend the account bebexo method. She brushes it to top of head pony and cuts. Then divide the pony to 4 pieces to feather cut. I tried it myself and loved it, much easier way to get layers. But this way would still be good for all one length.

Thank you so much for this! I had 5-6in of damaged hair from bleaching and dying. I can't afford a stylist currently. I had my husband watch this video with me and he helped me get all that damage off my head. I feel so much lighter! Thank you Brad Mondo!

We used to say if we could put our head on the chair, our hair would look great! Go back to your stylist. And thank you so much for doing this video. Im looking for someone I dont know to go to. Hard when youve worked a long time in a small town! LOL!

I came across this video in order to trim my hair instead of paying someone to cut off about an inch or so. I'd like to see this video done with a live person and you explaining how to do it. I want to see how easy it is to do it on one's on.

Brad Mondo. i bow down to you. i just needed to trim but this technique seriously worked! I'm super happy with the results. Thankyou PS I did the cut your own bangs a little while back. and I can say both videos have not failed me!

Brando Mondo Id like to see a demo with you actually wearing a wig to demo how you cut it, so we learn how to cut our own hair. Not you cutting a mannequin hair because thats teaching just how to cit someone elses hair.

Tell me why this is a sign to cut my hair not because i took the time to search how to cut hair but because the mannequins hair is like mine and ive been wanting to cut hair but havent made the action lol

I have reall thin fine hair and it pains me to just go to a salon and have the stylist takes 5 mins to trim my hair and pay the expensive fee. So this is so helpful! You're saving me money. Thank you
