Hairdresser reacts to bleach videos addressed to me JoAnne: Question.
My hair is hip length, and about 25% white. Or maybe I should say 'clear', as while I'm not going bald with a pattern, the hair that's there is fine and so white it is only seen when the sun shines on it. Anyway, what I am asking is. if those toners that are used to 'fix' brassy scary post bleach-hell hair, would it work well enough to give enough colour to make my white/clear hair blend better with my dark strawberry blonde hair? I know I need to do a trim, maybe about 6 inches to grab most of the splitting on the ends, but I don't want to do it until after the chemical process(es) are done. That way the damaged ends can help buffer the higher up hair shaft and the trim will take the nasty ends away. Note: I have not coloured or processed my hair with anything besides shampoo and conditioner since 2014, so as my hair grows between 6-8 inches in a year. currently, all of the hair on my head has never been processed.
So, would toner help with the 'invisibility factor' of my white hairs? Or would it be better to just get the trim and use one of those hair gloss treatments to protect the length and strength, and try to ignore the 'Are you going bald/ do you have Alopecia' questions?
Yes, many people are invasive and rude, but that's life.

Poor Brad, I felt that last one so much. Girl, you looked amazing after the salon. I think your personality is perfect for something even shaggier and more punk rock. Chestnut brown looks ok too. But that final color aged you SO MUCH. I don't understand how but it was so unflattering that it was actually lying to my brain about what you looked like. You are so cute and pretty, that lying hair has to go! Not everything looks good on everyone and what looks great on someone else might not work on us. There's so many things that factor in. I understand the color comfort zone. I bounced around a lot and then married my brown. Thought that was it for me. 20 years later, I'm a balayage blonde. Wasn't sure if I could ever feel like it was me, like it would match my personality, no matter how much I love blonde but once I embraced it, another side of me came out and I love everything about it and how it makes me feel. At first, even though as I said, I had done every color as a teen, it felt like I had someone elses head on but once I embraced and got comfortable with it, now I feel like this is the real me. Just keep an open mind.

That girl with the short hair at the end was so frustrating because if she just toned down that blonde to a creamy beige blond, it would have been so pretty on her skin. The salon gave her too dark roots and it looked extreme and grown out. A softer root color and a beige blonde would be beautiful

My mom has naturally brown hair (which I didn't know until like a few years ago) and she's been dying it blonde for years but the thing is, she doesn't bleach it she uses blonde hair dye, so how does that like. Do anything? Cuz her hair is pretty dark too.
reply

a lot of people also dont take into account that sun can actually lighten your hair. I had like a natural shade of blond and went on vacation and it lifted so much that it looked like platinum blond when i came back.
reply

Yes, I would only lighten the dark areas. Def needs more product. I rather gray then orange to orange isnt a good look. The top looks excellent. Yes tone it. Its way to short. Oh no brown and red overtone.
reply

Im just shocked I wanted to dye my hair a dark red and keep my roots black or go lighter with the red but now I see theses videos I dont want to do it no more even though it was my dream to do it.

I gotta say. that Ion cream bleach is trash. I've used every bleach at Sally's and that one gives the most inconsistent results I've ever had. Personal experience but yikes. Never again.

People try to do they are self salons taking lost money and they dont know how to take care black hair. Because I know it I was want 25% salons they damage my hair so badly now I do my self
reply

Hes right the last girl should have just left her hair alone! She looked supppper cute after the salon fixed it! And it worked of looked really pretty while growing out.

For someone who bleached their hair if they start having chunks fall out. what can a person do to restimulate hair growth? tips and advice Brad Mondo
reply

The copper color was pretty but the blonde with the dark roots looked better on her. She should have stayed with the blonde and dark roots
reply

Its funny watching people try to get blonde because I have blonde and I think it so boring and wish I had darker hair lmao
