video description
After a few months my hair grew out and I had pale blond roots with jet black hair and eventually just chopped all of my hair off into a very cute and wild pixie cut.

Hey brad mondo!
So I used to always dye my hair very black for years, but a few years ago I decided to dye my hair very pale blonde & so I used one n only color remover & then I bleached & bleach bathed a few times within a couple months so I had almost no damage & got to pale blonde. Then I colored my hair dark teal mixing manic panic midnight blue & a dark green color. Then after a while I wanted dark purple so I did a bleach bath on the dark teal it had faded so the outcome was blonde roots & light baby blue ends, put dark purple on top and now have had it for a while. I just bleach roots and touch up color sometimes. Now I want something now!
Help! I just want to do split dye half dark black and then probably keep other half purple or do it dark teal. Im going to do a bleach bath on half or all my hair to lighten it to then add black? Or do I add black straight to top of dark purple? The black dye I bought is one that u mix with 10 vol developer.
I just need to know if I add the black hair dye (that is mixed with 10 vol developer) straight on top of my dark purple hair or if I do a bleach bath and lighten it then add black?

These people are just scared like i have black hair and so afraid in the first time i make my hair blonde.
And these people pull no nicely, as they are already fair skin. But sadly the black turn out lighter so easily.
Hey, blonds. you look so gorgeous with black hair, don't be afraid. You don't look like corpse or something horrible it's just that you change into somthing totally different but you look beautiful.
Also, i never think blondes are dying for a black hair.

i once went from blonde to black. though I used a more permanent dye and had no issue with my hair going green (didn't even know that was a thing that could actually happen) It was like golden blond hair right to midnight/raven black (it was blue-black and really dark) I am a pale person, so it was an especially startling contrast. I have since been brunet and more recently a redhead with dark red hair (I mean like Uzumaki Kushina red) But now I want to go with purple.

If anyone is considering using semi-permanent to get their hair black like the first girl, an unforunate fact of semi-permanent blacks is that after around 2-3 washes, it'll be a weird, greyish blueish greenish colour. Semi-permanent blacks are great for being black right now, but not in a week.

I'm a blonde, but forever I've had black hair. I just returned to blonde again after a five month process of getting here and I can honestly say I want to go back to black. But I know my hair dresser will probably fight me so I'll try and rock the blonde a while before I bite the bullet

The dying hair with no gloves on reminded me of this girl I went to school with that dyed her hair pink with her bare hands and proceeded to blame her sister for putting dye on her hair while she was sleeping meanwhile her hands just happened to be stained the same color lol.

I've gone from blonde (and every other color) to black without filling the cuticle first and I've never had a problem! Also. isn't AF like 90% conditioner? That's part of the branding, that it'll condition your hair and only make it feel better the longer you have it in.

I agree! I have been blonde for 6 years now. I went to college, got married, moved states, and started law school with my blonde hair. Im going back to my black natural hair color soon and Im a little sad to go close the blonde hair chapter in my life.

Black rarely looks good. It's harsh and the chemicals are bad for you. Its staines everything too. She(the first girl) would look good in a light gingery tone to go with her fresh complexion. She is beautiful btw
But can anybody give her some gloves.

as someone with nature black hair, I have to admit, I thought dying hair black is the easiest thing ever. I thought you could simply just cover any hair color with black. And what the heck is a blue based black? Isn't black every single color mixed together?

That Arctic Fox black has a horrible blue base. Brad is right-you need to have a good copper or brown pigment to start to change it into a complementary brown-based black. Otherwise it will fade to this green/blue/grey color.
