The more I watch these videos, the more I realize I have no idea how to do my hair or how to use my hair tools and/or products. I'm 35 and just learned recently that I have VERY curly hair, that has been a massive mess my whole life and I have been calling homeless person hair because I've been brushing the curls/waves my whole life, essentially destroying my natural hair because I've always brushed it and straightened it. For the first time in my life, I bought curly hair products and HOLY shit, yeah, I have natural ringlet curls. And now watching this, I realize, I have been using my hair tools all wrong.
So at this rate, I'll be doing my hair correctly by the time I'm 65.

This video is basically showing the difference between doing basic waves, vs stylized waves. Personally, I like both versions, but after seeing the more stylized version (thank you for that) I now want to bust out my waver and do some tinkering. Thank you for your usual brand of inspiration and enlightenment: ) It's always a good time. Also, in my opinion, the more stylized version is giving me Serena Van Der Woodsen vibes

Do you think this would work for me? I have thick heavy hair that has never held a curl for longer than 30 minutes. Over 40 years we ve tried the good old Carmen rollers, the twisties, tongs, numerous tricks with the ghds and other mega expensive hair tools. It s getting to the point where I d maybe consider a beach waves perm, but I hear bad things.

Also I have seen where in other peoples messages some people were saying not so nice things about you and a lot of people stuck up for you just wanted to let you know that you have a lot of fans out there you got a lot of people who would fight for you

Thak you so much for the help ive been doping it wrong for years. Also i need help i was thinking about going to the hair salon nad saying do whatever you think will suit me and tont tell me what your doping till the end and the only rule is u cant die my hair. Seeing that device, it looks like the follical stimulater Jack nickelson used in anger management with Adam Sandler. Literally using electric discharge to stimulate his hair's growth and full body. But the question is now that she has curls what would be the best product for maintenance on natural curls vs device made?

Sorry, but that tool is most pointless hairtool ever in my opinion: D I was so exited and bought it and. got reallly dissapointed. Finish result was so ugly and barely noticable curls. And yes, I did it holding hair up like you did in this video. Now all that money stays in the box in the corner of the drawer.

This turned out amazing. I have a couple of the wave crimpers, but have not quite found which works for me. Granted, I was trying them with much shorter hair, but now that s it s so much longer I think I will have more success. I m curious about the twisting technique.

I never bought a tool like that because I didn't like the super crispy crimp look. BUT THIS. oh buddy I'm glad my birthday is Monday, because I know what I want to buy for myself hehe I'm so excited to follow this tutorial and have mermaid hair
