The second girl honestly should have just put a warm brown on top of her blonde. Her blonde wasn't ashy. As a natural ash blonde (honestly haven't seen my natural hair in over a decade, I put ash brown on top of carrot orange (bleached cherry red hair) and it looks amazing. OR she should've did a couple drops of a red additive from Sally's to a neutral brown if she really wanted to fill her hair. I think people get caught up being stylist when they aren't using professional hair products. It's kind of. frustrating.

Not gonna lie Brad, I been having a shit time lately with disappointments concerning personal stuff and other things in life and whenever I feel like I been feeling lately and I click on one of your videos and hear some rendition of your intro of hi beautiful, you look gorgeous. Thank you so much for being here. I am beyond excited to watch these videos with you it just never fails to put a smile on my face and bring me some joy. So thanks for posting today cause I needed the cheering up

imo its just easier to get more lightener on the hair with a brush. Using your hands imo it tends to stick to your gloves more and its harder to get it to the root section too.
i also disagree. i think brown hair washes me out more than blonde, especially when i dont have make up. it makes me look pale and just. idk, haggard lol. having at least some blonde pieces brightens my face up. I feel way prettier without make up when I have blonde vs brown. but i guess that is subjective.

my mom always used clairol box dye, and she always mixed at least two colors because it gave her more natural-looking highlights and lowlights. her sisters each only ever used one color of box dye, and their hairs color always looked flat like shoe polish. so i think that's why people try to mix box dye colors that are off by a shade from each other. even salons mix a drop of something in with their dyes to give high/lowlights in a single process.

As a natural level 7 who has been lightening my hair since it dropped from an 8 at age 26-27, it is weird to see my natural haircolor suddenly be popular. I entirely credit taylor swift. Suddenly it's no longer dirty, dishwater or mousy blonde/brown. Now we're mushroom, or dark ash blonde/brown. Cant decide if i appreciate it, or am mad at the way suddenly everyone wants something I was taught to be ashamed of happening to my bright blonde hair.

HELP! I have called my hair very shades of red my entire adult life and I finally decided I wanted to go gray so I started throwing it out and it was a forever time I bought wings. I bought everything only today. I brought myself to lighten it. I’m going to send a picture, vitamin C, crushed up and then and then I used peroxide and blue bleach. I’ll show you where I’m at and where I want to be. Tell me what you thinkPLEASE HELP!

After years and years of my sister bleaching/dyeing her hair, I've learned a few things -
1) Get a tub of blue bleach from Sally's for $10, you always need more than you think.
2) Know at least a little bit about color theory, purple shampoo does nothing to brass bleached hair.
3) Just pay someone else to do it, you ain't qualified girl.

I don't know what color my hair is. It's different on my phone. It's different on another camera and it's different in the mirror.
Please. Please. Please someone tell me that this girl is not this clueless that she doesn't understand the difference between the reality of a mirror vs. seeing something through a camera lens.

As someone who had black hair naturally, I got gray hair when I was still in high school and now I’m in my 30s and I would say at least half of my hair is gray. It’s hard to figure out what color you will get when it comes to hair dye on gray hair. I would like to see a video from Brad on the subject of dying gray hair.

Hi Brad. We don't have your x Mondo range here in UK. Will it be launched in UK Also I'm a bleach blonde and my hair is fried and seems to have stopped growing. Any advice on how to get it back It's short at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks brad. Love your videos and you are cute

I wonder how many times Brad has repeated himself in these videos! the amount of money some of these young ladies spend on box dyes they could just go to a professional! but if they did we wouldnt have these fantastic reaction videos from Brad and I could not live without seeing his beautiful face!

I just feel like alot of the times people are laying and pretend they made it themselves so that other people will believe it is easy and fixable.
But honestly, most of the time I just feel that it just can't get from this to this after what they have done.
Somthing is really fishy here

I bleached and colored my hair for 10 years (directions colors. I used never e brush on myself because its gonna be messy on the hair and the room i had more control to apply.
I always bleached one side of my head wash it out and then the other side because i dont wanna be stressed

I do my own hair for 13 years now and I gotta say I absolutely hate brushes. I use them on the roots and to put the dye on the hair, then I use my hands to spread it through the hair strand. it's much easier, cleaner and you can feel where it needs a bit more of attention or a retouch

a thing to do if you dont wanna spend a crap ton of money to get your hair done 9/10 recommend going to a teaching salon (cosmo school salon) alot cheaper and still better then if you do it yourself, and it helps students like me get better at doing hair!

The last hair color, I thought, came out so pretty. And it's interesting to see the 4N came out like 6n, maybe because of the 20 vol. Her hair is gonna fade quickly, no doubt- but I it is the experimental process that is the fun. To me, anyway
reply

As someone who does there own hair I can unequivocally tell you that is the process itself that I find fun. Its nice when it looks good, but if I only cared about the result I would go to a salon. I love your reaction videos, they are hilarious!

I could just imagine if he could, him barging in and punching the box dye out of their hands and handing them his own products or ones he approves of and then leaving without one word just the look of disgust on his face.
reply

If I need to get so much product, and put SO much effort, I might just get it done professionally right away (even if it costs more. As someone with anxiety, I cannot even imagine doing it myself haha But it is sure fun to watch!
