Hairdresser reacts to girls trying to balayage their own hair Truthful: Brad mondo I have a question. I had really bright red hair made from a bunch of small sections of different colors including red, purple, pink magenta. I wanted red color no one had and I achieved that. I love my hair bright. But then everyone started dying there hair red so I had to make a change. Because the closest Sally's is some hours away I use splatt ( I've always had good results and never used the bleach because I have natural blonde hair) Well to do something different I used the splatt bleach to start the lighting process. I put the bleach on my hair making sure I didn't get my roots ( I have blonde roots which means they would go white really really quick if I did) I did the middle of my hair first then went back and did the ends. I only left the bleach on my head for about 15 to 20 mins. I wrapped my head in a bag and hit it with heat a CPL times for a min or so( again not wanting my roots to turn white from spreading) I washed it out and conditioned it very very well. Blew dry my hair and it look very even and because of all the colors in my hair it turned out to be almost a neon peach with some pink or purple in spots at my roots. I was good with it because I was going to let my hair rest so I didn't fry it. So I decided to Rock out the neon peach with color peek a boos for a few weeks so my hair could heal. When I walked out of the bathroom my husband fell in love with the color with it being so bright. I told him I was going to leave it for awhile so my hair could heal. But Brad mondo I have never got so many compliments on my hair before ( I have always gotten compliments before but this is a whole new level) people see me and walk over and say I love ur hair who did it. I say I did. But it's a daily thing and it's not just young people I have older people do it to. One time I was walking into Walmart and a older lady said hey hold on so I did. She said she loved the color and had my do the turn around and show her. I don't get it yes I can pretty much rock any color out ( whole head blue wasn't my favorite because without makeup I looked dead I'm very pale) but my hair literally has random spots of colors in it at just below the root mostly pink but I have one spot of purple in the back while the rest is this neon peach color I don't get it. It's screwed up to me because of the random color spots. But everyone wants me to keep it this way but my hair is growing like all hair does. This color does not exist that I can buy. Do you think if I go in and color my roots in with pink kinda like a shadow root ( like it's growing in pink instead of blonde) would it be a way I could keep the color longer or is it cause I have the random color spots that people like it so much. To do this again to get this color would be alot of work cause I would have to do the multiple colors again to make it that bright red then bleach it again. That's a lot of work and I don't know if it would end up the same. How do I keep the color I have but lose the blonde roots that are coming in.

I will never understand anyone who uses box dye! It's one use, crap ingredients, damages the hair, when you could purchase colour, developer and perhaps depending on length and thickness you will get a couple of applications out of a tube of colour. It's usually more conditioning and gives better coverage, and isn't as messy. Oh I could go on!

The second girls hair is amazing per brad saying it could be done better. Um idk but I havent seen anyone I know have a better outcome professionally compared to this girls at home job. Sorry but hair stylists unless youre like famous or in a huge city like in California or New York the work is just bad more often than not.

The girl in the second video actually is a professional hair dresser and specializes in balayage, she was just trying out a new technique on herself at home to see how it turns out before she would CONSIDER doing it on a client. Her videos actually how I learned and do my own balayage on myself

How does Brad look cool in a bandanna. I tried one when I was having treatment and lost my hair and I looked insane I just bald headed it. I have not got a nice enough face to pull one off lol

I use this bleach on my hair. My hair is shortish but people with longer or thicker hair should use 2 boxes. I am in UK the box that last lady used
