My hair is long THICK and heavy, it's below the belly button and blunt cut without any layers, I find is soo hard to do any sort of French braid cause it sticks to itself. Any advice on getting it smooth and slippery to make it easier to French? :) (Oh and doing it wet is just double the nightmare Haha)Thanks

I love this hairstyle but I have failed to do it for so many times. Whenever I get to the part near the bottom of my ears, they are kind of loose. Therefore, when I pull the hair to the side and continue braiding, the hair around my left ear stick out awkwardly. I am so frustrated.

Hey Kayley, have you ever thought about some half up/half down hair dos specifically for straight hair? I always LOVE your curls and waves but don't always have time to do my hair like that and I have naturally straight hair like you Just a thought: )

I love this Its too bad I can't do this on my own hair because I have an A- symmetrical bob, but I tried it on my 2yr old daughters hair and it looks soo adorable. I couldn't finish the mermaid all the way down so I finished it with the fishtail braid.

I've tried this yesterday and really loved it. It is really easy, even more than I thought when I first watched the video The only issue is that I have layers and that my hair tented to escape during the evening. any advice on how to avoid that?

I have a hard time fish tailing my hair without securing it into an elastic first. Scratch that, I cannot fish tail my hair without it being in a pony tail first. Any tips on getting my hair to fish tail without having to tie it off?

It's very hard for me to braid my hair in a mermaid kind of braid. My hair is way to thick to just get small sections to incorperate. There will always be some hair that will be left by the time I reached the tips of my hair. Any advice?
