Looks like I'm in the minority on this one but I don't like the milkmaid braid I really like the interpretation of it here though - the single braid across the top is milkmaid-ish without making you look too young like I think milkmaid braids tend to do. This is one I'm going to have to try, I need some updo ideas and this is really cute, plus it has the added bonus of being something I could possible do (or at least start) the night before and just in into place in the morning

For the most part, I am really good at braiding. I can do pretty much everything on my hair. Except for milk maid braids. My hair will just not go in that direction. I can't even do a full headband braid because my hair will not go all to one side. I have been practicing so much but I still cannot get it to go where I want it. But I love the milkmaid/crown braids so much Maybe you have an suggestions? If you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it Thank youuu

I love the milkmaid braid I've just always felt that with my super thick hair I a littleeeee bit look like a crazy person. I like this version, though The skinnier braid is much more do-able for my hair type. Also, I LOVEEE this style I'm in a wedding in June and want my hair off my neck (June+Oklahoma=hottttt) and this looks perfect for her casual wedding. Love all your videos Keep 'em coming: )

could you do some more nice hair styles for shorter hair? I have shoulder length hair and can always find video's for long hair, and jaw-line length hair, but never shoulder length and i'm really stuck with what to do with mine: ( I only ever hair it straight, curly, all up or half up and i have no more ideas left D: Please thumbs up so she can see

I did this hairstyle yesterday, I had to use like 15 bobby pins to pin all my hair at the back. I liked it a lot and I will be doing it frequently from now on when I want a different hairstyle. Also I have no bangs so instead I just left two pieces of hair on each side of my face and curled them using my curling iron

I have the exact same problem I don't know if you like braids, but if you want to do hairstyles with braids than I suggest french braids. I like to do a regular french braid up to the back of the top part of my head and then either doing a messy bun or a ponytail. Then just pin up the flyaways: ) I hoped this helped you

I think the milkmaid braid depends on the type of person. If you're really, really cute anyway, it's gonna look costume-y and if you're more on the practical side, it's gonna look odd. So I guess it's kind of hard to get it to look right. But by all means, if that's the mood I'm in, I'm gonna go for it

I was so excited to do this hairstyle today, but after half an hour of failure after failure, I'm officially giving up. I can't get that first braid to start at the right place and it just looks completely ridiculous. :( Why have all this long hair if I can't manage to do anything with it? Bleh
